  1. I am in the same position, only I have been waiting much longer. I did an interview on the 19th of December and was told that I would hear something back by the end of the next week. I have heard from HR twice saying there are still no updates and she will inform me when there are any changes. I don't mind waiting though, the job is worth it.
  2. Hello Everyone, I had an interview this afternoon and I am now writing the follow-up letter to send in tomorrow. What are your opinions? I am a new nurse with no experience other than nursing clinicals. I would greatly appreciate your comments. Thanks!! This is what I have written so far... Dear Ms.... , My name is.... . I interviewed for the position of Pre-Op/Post-Op/OR Registered Nurse on Friday, February 20, 2015. I am writing to thank you again for the opportunity to come in and discuss the position. After our conversation over the phone and my interview with ..., I know that this position is perfect for me. I know that I have very little professional experience, but I also know that with little time I will be a valued employee to .......Surgicenter. Though my clinical experience is limited to what I learned during my clinicals, I know that I can expand on those skills to be the best nurse that you need for the job. I am a hard worker and I love learning new procedures and meeting new people. I bring a lot of positive energy to the workplace and with my cultural background; I know that I can bring diversity to help with patient communication as well. If there are any other questions that you or.... would like to ask me, please do not hesitate to call or e-mail me at any time. I am always free to take your calls or e-mails. My number is ... and my e-mail is .... I look forward to hearing from you soon. Take care. Sincerely, I left out personal names and addresses for privacy reasons, but otherwise is it good? TIA
