I would share your sentiment. It has been more than 48 hours since we wrote the exam, and I felt like it was the trickiest exams EVER!! I actually dont know how i did. Canadian Prep Guide and the online Predictor test was waaaayyyy easier but the exam was TOOOOOO TRICKY i would say. I was soooo tired after writing the exam.. and now, all i can remember was the WRONG answers which are the VERY BASICS. come-on Now, i am sooo scared. How will they score the test?? Will it be 4-6 weeks of waiting? or 6-8weeks? Oh my. This will be intense. ;(

Hi Neneng, I didnt call the NVC this time, though I called them before the November VB came out, my status didnt change. I hope it doesnt. I dont want to fill out some forms again, go to NBI and have my clearance for the nth time and sooo on. I just hope positive things are coming soon. It has been a long wait. PD Feb 06 Documentarily Qualified: May 29, 2008 NCLEX will expire Mid 2009. -- California didnt email me back yet with regards to extension, sooo sad

DO NOT EVER EVER ENROLL IN R.U.N. I spend P8t there and GOT NOTHING!!! FACILITIES ARE NOT GOOD at all and the Instructors are Below Par!! Dont waste your money! Where are u located? someone posted here about the student and teacher ratio, there is a very excellent center based in the province which i enrolled in and its really great. Accomodation is great and students are Very Limited per class. :)

Hi neneng! how are u? i just called the NVC and the documents they were asking were already received. I have to wait for 6-8 weeks for further instructions.. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

One more, do we have to certify the Passport? i mean certified True copy? notarized or what?

Hi neneng, same PD here. my agent already emailed me and requiring me to send some docus. I just sent my 2x2 and ds230 with nbi before however, the NVC is asking a photocopy of passport and birth cert. My question is, what kind of birth certificate are we supposed to submit? the one from the NSO? or any authenticated copy from our City Health? I already sent my original docus before hand(SECPA),i didnt get a new one, i submitted a birth cert. which i got 2004, does it matter? or should they require a document from 2008?

No development neneng, i called NVC last nyt, its the same mesage.."The NVC has mailed the letter July 2007 blah blah". I emailed them though, they said they are waiting for my updated ds230.. i already sent my updated docs to my agent in the u.s., i dont know if my lawyer has received the "new" letter though. i have been "case complete" twice, i hope this time, it will be "really complete". hehehehe

Hi neneng, thanks for the update. I actually emailed the NVC last time, they said they were waiting for my updated DS230. I submitted it already to my agent.. I hope they will receive the letter from the NVC, and by that time, they will receive my updated papers. Keeping our fingers crossed.

I think you have to contact the NVC directly Neneng06 just like what i did. I prepared the usual docs. NBI, 2x2, Ds230, but then again, they only needed the Ds230.. Well, its better that i have submitted everything.. All docs are to be sent to my agent, they will be the one to forward it to the atty. Start preparing your docs, dont wait for ur lawyer.. contact the NVC directly..

Same here. I called up the NVC and it says that some documents are missing well in fact i was already case complete last year. Surprisingly, it said that they have already mailed July of 2007. I guess I have to mail more documents again. PD February 2006

Hi topscot! You mean the photocopy of the SECPA birth certificate? together with NBI clearance, ds230, photos and photocopy passport? The one i have submitted last time was only the ds230 and my NBI clearance.. have u tried speaking with an agent at the NVC's callcenter? I did tried it last year, that is what they have required from me, i wonder if i can call them again now since they have sent some notice to my lawyer which until now i dont have any news yet. Hoping for the best.

Hi monroe, I got the same message too. I just called up the NVC, and it says that some documents are missing or incompete upon review last july 2007... they have mailed some instructions to the lawyer.. Maybe this is related to a new set of DS230 and a new NBI clearance as what they have required from us last year.. I dont know, maybe i have to wait for the instructions... Waiting for our cases "TO BE COMPLETE AGAIN" Hoping this is finally it. :)

I called up the NVC's automated response system and it says "The lawyer will receive a letter within the next 90 days" so i dont know. New request of DS230 and NBI clearance perhaps? Same as what i did from the last time?

Yes! February 2006 here as well, I called up NVC still "no visa available" as the automated response system has "always" been saying. heheheheh

I think you have to submit again a new NBI Clearance and an updated DS230. :)

I agree with Lawrence, I dont think 3rd year nursing students need PDA's, but im not saying that you dont need to give them PDA's. I think what they need are BOOKS which would be very helpful for them in the classroom and in the clinical. Invest in Books, let your students read them. Medical-Surgical Nursing Books, Pharmacology Books, Maternity and Pediatric Books. I suggest you give them Books on Nursing Care Plans because i am sure they need them soooo much especially that making NCP's will be a constant activity in the third year level. Encourage them to read more books because 3rd year is the Busiest year for nursing students..
