  1. Hello! I'm not sure about other programs but ours has set clinical hours and you have to be there at that specific time. We do not have make-up time for clinicals either. From my understanding, the schools make agreements with the hospitals for clinical hours and that's all they can get. I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear but maybe other schools are more lenient. Do you have family that could drop them off for you? Good luck! I have a 2 year old and finding childcare is so stressful sometimes especially with such an erratic schedule and having to leave the house sometimes before 5 am for clinical.
  2. I'm currently in block 2 at CGCC. I can say that I have had a really good experience so far and I'm really glad that I chose this program! They have completely changed the curriculum and it has worked out great so far! All of our instructors have been awesome and truly want to help you succeed. I'm not sure why you've heard bad things thus far, but I just wanted to give a different point of view :)
  3. Block 1 at Chandler-Gilbert this semester: Lab-Mon/Wed 8:30-3:30 lecture-Thurs 9-12:30 (lab times change after clinical rotations start) Hope that helps :)

(MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST NAMES OF THOSE IN YOUR PROGRAM PER TOS) was his last name I believe. He was the one at the application session. He was always so helpful.

Thank you so much for the info. I attended CGCC, MCC, and Rio Salado and all of my transcripts weren't being sent all together like azgal81 said. Ugh what a nightmare. I already sent my mmr and financial aid over so hopefully everything will go smoothly now. The asu advisor that I was in contact with suddenly doesn't work there anymore so I was worried I've missed some stuff. Can't wait to finally get started! Hopefully I can sign up for classes soon too :)

Just checking in! Has anyone that is going to ASU heard anything more? I had major issues with Maricopa sending my transcripts (had to send them 4 times) and I'm worried that I've missed some info since I'm still waiting to be accepted.

I still haven't heard anything from ASU yet. Have you heard anything @ahsile?

I did email the ASU advisor. I guess we're just supposed to wait for them to email us after CGCC sends them our signed agreement. Have you heard anything else yet?

I went to the application session today and applied for ASU. My first choice was Chandler-Gilbert but I'll be happy with any of them. The ASU advisor was pretty confident that I will get in so that's exciting! Good luck everyone! Hope these two weeks of waiting go by fast :)

Good luck to all of you guys :) I'm going on the 4th and applying to the ASU CEP. Hopefully we'll be able to find out pretty soon after. From previous threads, it sounds like they heard within two weeks! It's sounding like it might be pretty competitive this go around!

@sparks87 I am not exactly sure about the AGEC courses. I know that the co-reqs have to be completed before you apply but those are mandatory and the AGEC isn't. Wish I could be more help :) Are you applying for NAU? I'm so anxious to apply already haha.

I was wondering if anyone out there is going to the application sessions in February? It would be nice to find people in the same boat as me :)
