I am an ADN, and received an offer for a medsurg floor. I work at S&W as a tech and did clinicals there so i'm sure that helped? I did not get the PACU internship at McLanes though SOO sad about that!!!!!

I work at Scott & White now...and everyone I've worked with is great! They love to have students, and are excited to teach you.There are going to be people that are not always pleasant to work with wherever you go, not just Temple S&W.

I think my interview went well! Now I just have to play the waiting game. I know they were interviewing a lot of other students today for the PACU and they only have ONE position available!!!!! So fingers crossed. I havent heard of anyone getting a call for NICU or childrens ER yet

People are still getting calls. Don't worry!! I know 2 ppl in my class that got called for an OR interview and peds medsurg today

PACU! I work at Memorial in the PACU as a tech, so I am really really hoping for this job!!!!

The medsurg job I was offered starts June 29. They said they wanted to give everyone time to take NCLEX. I got a call from McLanes and have an interview on Friday!!!!

Nope, everything still says submitted. Jusy FYI Seton in Harker Heights has a residency program that is seperate from the other Seton one we are applying too. Type "Seton in Harker Heights" on google and look under available jobs and it's on there!

No, I haven't heard from McLanes Has anyone else?

I interviewed on a medsurg floor and was offered the position!!!! They seemed eager to hire a lot of new grads! I'm still hoping to hear from McLanes though before making a decision.

you really didn't miss much. There were soooo many students handing only a few people thousands of resume's! There is no way they will remember everyone that went. They went over what hospitals were offering a spot in the residency programs. Everything was really limited...like they are only going to hire 20 people and have thousands applying!!!!

All of the internships start in June/July. They said that they would start going through applications in March and do interviews March-May. Our school gave us the info about the start dates and info about the internships!

Yea I think statistics is a prereq. I had to take it

I live in the Central Texas Area...about an hour from Austin.

I will be graduating in May with my ADN. They did say they preferred BSN over ADN, but do hire ADN's....so that gives me hope! I am just going to bring my resume to the open house. How dressed up are you going to get for it?!

I'm still waiting to get just the 2 submitted. I'm hoping to submit my application before the open house on Wednesday. Will you be graduating with an ADN or BSN degree? I figure those 3 will be the most popular...hopefully we have a chance to interview!!
