So glad there is a holistic nursing division
@gulfgirl72, I totally agree with you in all your comments! With it was available years ago. But then, I wouldn't have gone down the path I did, and so for that, I'm grateful for all my experiences, burnout, healing, etc.

The AHNA has a great book, and a CEU program you can go through. Then you can take their certification exam when you are ready.

How do I get into Holistic Nursing?
I would become a member first of the Holistic Nurses Association. You CAN get a Masters in Holistic Nursing, but I've not found a BSN program that has this focused specialty. However, I've done a lot with University of Phoenix and their BSN program is VERY holistic and follows the theories of Dr. Jean Watson.

for those who work 12 hour shifts, how long is your lunch break?
Officially, 30 minutes. Unpaid. Who EVER really takes it?

Holistic Nurses, what are your thoughts on GMO's
Seems odd doesn't it?

So glad there is a holistic nursing division
Glad to see there is a Holistic Nursing Division here. I was a member when holistic nursing became a legitimate subspecialty! Good times! I was just approved to be a local Chapter leader in my area for the AHNA. So excited! Who all is a member of AHNA? And what is an area of Holistic Nursing that you love?

I'm SO against GMO.. I'm also trying to start my collection of herloom seeds in the event the GMO problem does continue.
