  1. Hi Nursex23, Did you ever end up taking the exam? ?
  2. I'm hearing Uworld, Lippincott PassPoint, Rachell Allen, and any of the Lippincott NCLEX books helped. Do you know what you plan on using the 3rd time?
  3. I used the HESI Comprehensive Review for NCLEX-RN (along with Evolve Elsevier companion site), and Saunders (along with its Evolve Elsevier companion site for questions). I really like how Hesi outlines information. Saunders provides more detail and clarification if you have further questions on topics.
  4. @Chloe138, how are you studying all these flashcards? They are a lot. Are you just flipping through them a few days out of the week? Or are you creating your own flashcards? Are you using Quizlet? I could use a few pointers on how to absorb all this information. TIA!
  5. @Lusin, have u taken ACLS or PALS? Both courses are offered by the American Heart Association (AHA). I took both courses as a tech, and they helped a lot.
  6. I'm using Hesi Comp Review for Nclex & Saunders too. Hypokalemia: less than 3.5, flat T waves, prominent U waves, depressed ST segment, NV, muscle weakness, decreased GI motility, paresthesia. Hyponatremia: less than 135, confusion, lethargy, muscle cramps, seizures.
  7. -Imbalanced nutrition r/t inability to eat/drink d/t NV -Deficient fluid volume r/t increased output and decreased intake
  8. Danju-14, what resources are u using to study?
  9. Same here :)
  10. It says I need 15 posts before I can private message u. I'll send u my email via skype. Did u receive my contact request?
  11. Hi Danju, I'll add you to my skype. In what time zone r u? :)
  12. I'm sorry. I don't live in Miami. I can study with you via skype :)
  13. I'm studying for nclex as well, and would like to study alongside a study partner or group via skype. Let me know and I'll add you :)
