  1. So happy you said something. I heard there was only 2 of us as well :) Lets get in touch! So excited!!! How can I contact you?
  2. My guess is that you're probably good as long as the 4 are complete. I was in a similar position. Just bug the person who is taking forever :)
  3. It's a shame that it took so long for both of us. Good news came from this awful situation though...I was offered a position at an amazing hospital...truly my dream job. Luckily my license posted late because I would have accepted a different offer. "Iam4Jesus" thanks for coming back and posting. Hopefully our comments help someone waiting for their results. BRN needs to step up their game. It's not fair that some have to wait 3-4 weeks, while others get their results within 48 hours. Oh well. Take care and God Bless!
  4. Gonda is in Westwood. Good luck everyone!!!
  5. Thanks! I got an email this morning from the unit director. Also, I got my RN license last week...took 3 weeks to get my results. So "needlicense" is no more :)
  6. I was offered a full-time job at UCLA today!!! The position is for GONDA tele. Good luck to everyone!!! Life is good!!!
  7. Not yet...for me at least. I was told that we will most likely hear something next week. Good luck!
  8. After almost 3 long weeks of waiting I finally found out today that I passed the NCLEX and i'm officially a Registered Nurse! I appreciate all the support and input I got from this message thread. I went through a little mini depression because I thought I had failed at 75 questions, and I also lost a job opportunity at Kaiser because my license wasn't posted in time (I have to wait until May now). All that is behind me now and I can finally get on with my life and start preparing for the future. I also want to say that the Pearson Vue good pop-up was accurate for me. For those of you out there who have been waiting for their NCLEX results for a long time I just want to say sit tight. If you got the good pop-up all you can do is wait...and check...and wait...and check. Once you see your name posted it's the best feeling in the world. Good luck to everyone and don't give up. I'll let you guys know if I get the amazing job (should find out next week). Thanks again for all your support.
  9. Really!? Now that you got your letter saying you passed does your name show up on "breeze" or another licensing verification website? Did you test in CA? Thanks!
  10. Just an update...this is day 15 of waiting to get NCLEX results. Took NCLEX in CA on 12/15 and continue to get the good Pearson pop-up. Wish me luck.
  11. Hey "nakimsan" I was hoping you could answer a couple quick questions. Did you take your exam in CA? Also, did your name show up on a license verification website before you got your letter saying you passed? Congratulations!
  12. Just called the Dept of Consumer Affairs twice (talked to different people) to see if anyone could help me. Unfortunately, both guys told me I need to call the CA BRN :/ If anyone has a direct number or can let me know who I should call please let me know!
  13. Wow!!! Congratulations!!! I'm calling first thing Monday morning!!!
  14. I'm going through something similar. I took my test on 12/15, but the BRN didn't say anything about processing my transcripts. Almost all of my classmates also received their results within a few days. Like you I was in a similar situation regarding a job...except I actually lost my opportunity because of the slow CA BRN. I also get the good pop-up through Pearson, but I still don't know if I for-sure passed and there is nothing I can do about it...very frustrating. At least tell me if I passed or not, right!? Hang in there.
  15. Congratulations Ozzy84 on getting into a residency program. You're lucky they're willing to take you w/o a license. In California it's a requirement (at most hospitals) that you have your license before you can even apply. I really wish CA at least had quick results; it's an easy way for them to make a little extra money. Good luck in the program. For anyone keeping track...this is Day 11 of the waiting game.
  16. I lost my job opportunity 2 days ago because my results haven't posted on the CA BRN I was originally told by a unit director that she would hold my spot for 2 weeks, but then she dropped a bomb on me saying that the recruiter actually needs my license by the end of the day...so sad (I actually cried). I now have to wait until April/May if I want to join their next new grad program. Not sure how i'm going to survive and pay rent until then. Fortunately I still have 1 more job possibility, but it's at a really nice hospital and there are a lot of really qualified applicants. I also wouldn't need my license for another month or so. Wish me luck. Merry Christmas :)
  17. Correct. I was not able to schedule another exam after submitting my "valid" credit card information. I also waited more than 24 hours. I have tried scheduling another exam about 4 different times (after 2 days, 3 days, 4 days) and continue to get the good pop-up. Thanks for the information. Any idea why some people get their results a lot faster than others? When I asked the BRN they said it was purely random. Not sure why such an important process is "random." I imagine the results get routed to different employees who have to input information...some just work harder than others. Not sure if this assumption is accurate. Feel free to speculate.
  18. Haha you're going to light a candle for me...love it! I'll definitely keep you posted as soon as I hear anything :)
  19. It's hard to except that the Pearson trick works (even when done properly) when you take the NCLEX on the same day as a classmate and she gets her results within 48 hours, and here I am 8 days later with no results. I appreciate the comments Gizelle22...I know you're trying to ease my concerns. Unfortunately, I can't wait 29 days from the date I took the exam to get my results. I officially have "13 days" or I lose my spot in a new graduate RN program in Los Angeles. Send good vibes into the universe for me.
  20. You're very lucky RN4Jesus22. I really can't fathom why it takes so long to post results for some people and for others they get their results in less than 48 hours. I finished the exam in 75 questions. It should be a clear-cut pass or fail. Maybe you can say a prayer for me :) Congratulations again! Good luck in the job hunt. I know Northridge hospital has a new grad application open :)
  21. Thanks for replying to my thread jig1031. Glad to know i'm not the only person experiencing the frustrating wait. I really hope you hear something soon...2 weeks to get your results would be crazy. Did you take the NCLEX in CA?
  22. It really depends on the unit you're applying for in regards to the types of questions they're going to ask. I can't get into the specifics of questions (for obvious reasons). Best of luck!
  23. I have been coming to this thread off and on hoping to find out info. I have had 2 interviews and got the reference request email. Does anyone know what the next step is? Is there a 3rd interview with HR or do we just wait for them to contact our references and hopefully make an offer? I interviewed for a tele unit. Thanks in advance.
  24. I took the NCLEX in CA on 12/15/14 and received the good pop-up when doing the Pearson trick. It's been exactly a week since my exam and I continue to get the good pop-up. I will leave a comment if the CA BRN ever gets back to me. This will definitely confirm whether or not this trick actually works.
  25. Congrats on passing!!! So you waited 4 days in CA to get your results? Haha I check breeze way too often...it's always on my mind. Did you do the Pearson trick?
