  1. Thank you Trjl and NedRN. I very much appreciate your input and time
  2. Here is another question I have. When looking for a permanent hospital job after doing travel nursing, does it hurt your chances of employment being that you spend a short amount of time in each facility when traveling?
  3. Hi NedRN, I tried sending you a message but your mailbox was full so I am going to post my question here, you can email me if you prefer. Hello I am a medsurg nurse interested in pursuing travel nursing. From your experiences, which companies did you find the best in things like pay, housing, nursing support, recruiters, benefits....I was looking into Fastaff, Medpro, Cross Country, American Travelers, MGA Healthcare. Also which states did you find the best as far as the quality of nursing. Thank you so much. I really value your expertise.
  4. I started as well. I don't have a clue about what to study as well
  5. ThatnurseBSN, you sent me an email but for some reason I was unable to reply. I emailed you at the address provided.
  6. Melissa, I will look into those places. Thank you.
  7. Jmein were you able to complete Kaplan in that amount of time, how many hours a day did you prepare?
  8. Nancyp I was told $28
  9. Thank you all for responding. I appreciate it. Did any of you find Kaplan to be harder than Nclex?
  10. Hello, everyone. I will be taking NCLEX in two weeks and I find myself getting nervous as the date gets closer. I would like to know if you had any success with Kaplan. Please share how long you prepared, what were your scores and did you use any other methods or additional resources to study. Thank you all.
  11. For me I would say some were basic and some had average knowledge about cardio
  12. For me, I did not go in prepping clinical questions. I was given scenarios and asked what would I do for the patient, and was told I did excellent and was given an offer on the spot, this method has worked for me as I have received other offers. Relaxation and the right attitude is key, good luck. Trust me by the time you are done with it, you will realize how easy it was
  13. Heard its a nice place to work. How did it go? by the way what is their current starting rate?
  14. I'm also two weeks from start date, I'll be in cardiovascular I think 4th floor as well
  15. It's 18 months after completion of residency í ½í¸
  16. Soliloquy I forgot to ask earlier, what is their yearly pay increase or percentage
  17. Soliloquy thanks for the input, I'm glad you enjoy the program, are you also a new grad or currently in the residency? I hope the endorsement process is a breeze. I wonder if they allow people who don't pass the boards to reapply, happened to someone I know, different hospital though
