Nursing students and their bad behaviors >:(
Agree 1000000000000%. Some people complain about "cliques", others complain that the work is too hard and that "I feel like this should be done like this. It's much easier." and blah blah blah....the list goes on and on. But in the end, you are in school for YOURSELF. Don't waste too much time complaining about what other people do and instead GO STUDY!

I am on the edge......
I am looking for any advice that anyone can give me on how to do well with my exams. I have a foundations exam coming up next week and if I DO NOT MAKE AT LEAST A 75 I WILL FAIL THE COURSE. I have tried studying for hours and hours days at a time and the only payoff I was able to get off of doing that was a 74 in my last exam. Also, I studied for hours and hours for about 8 days before a patho exam and only managed to get a 78, while other people "only studied during the weekened" and got As. Clearly, I am doing something wrong. Any advice??????????? It will be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Please help..?
Interesting, let me try that. Let's see what learning style the questionnaire most likely pairs me up with. I'll try that for my test next week. I can't afford to fail it because it's game over for me. I want to do something about it now that it's still early in the week.

Please help..?
That's what I used for the last exam that I took and ended up failing it. I took all those practice quizzes until the questions started repeated themselves and I found no use for them after that. I don't know if I just memorized the actual question rather than the concept......

Please help..?
Ok, so I have 3 weeks left of my first semester of nursing school. I am barely, barely getting by! I just don't know how to study anymore. I have tried relying solely on the book to no avail. I've tried relying solely on the powerpoint slides to no avail. I've tried practicing tons of practice questions still to no avail. I am running out of ideas of how to study or what to do? I know people say, "study the concepts." I mean I do! But, why is it not clicking? I have never done this bad in any of my other college courses. I read and read and honestly feel like it's a waste of time I could be doing other things that will actually help me on the exams. But what???? Any tips anybody can give me?! I would hate to fail nursing school on the first semester.

Hoping for acceptance into University of North Georgia's BSN programin Fall 2015
I used this book to prepare for the HESI A2: Admission Assessment Exam Review / Edition 3 by HESI | 9781455703333 | Paperback | Barnes & Noble It's not so bad. I personally though that TEAS V was MUCH harder. I scored a 77% on the TEAS V whereas on the HESI A2 I scored an 84%. And the application deadline for Fall 2015/Spring 2016 has passed. This year, the University of North Georgia has started a 2016 Cohort in Gainesville. But the deadline to apply for Spring 2016 has applied. To being school in Fall 2016/Spring 2017 you would have to apply to the Nursing program THIS Fall 2015. Hope this info helps!!!

I don't think it means anything. It's probably just an information session.

Hoping for acceptance into University of North Georgia's BSN programin Fall 2015
I've applied there also. I called and asked to apply to the Gainesville cohort for 2016. I also asked if I did get accepted into Gainesville but if they did not have room for me if they would accommodate me in Dahlonega, they said yes. Those are excellent scores in the HESI A2 and TEAS V. I only scored an 84 on the HESI A2 exam. But hopefully my 3.6 GPA will compensate for the score I got in the HESI A2 exam. Good luck everyone!

UNG 2015/2016 Nursing/HESI & TEAS
So who all has applied for University of Georgia Nursing? Also, if anyone is still debating to take either the HESI A2 or the TEAS V, take the HESI2. For me, the HESI A2 was MUCH easier than the TEAS V. The reason being is because in the HESI A2 exam it doesn't ask you questions about biology. At least for the UNG exam. It only asked about Human AP, math, Reading comprehension, and vocabulary. In the TEAS V, you have to know Biology, Chemistry, Human AP. Also, the HESI A2 study guide is very similar to the actual HESI A2 exam. No calculators are allowed in neither exam. I read somewhere that calculators WERE allowed in the HESI A2 exam BUT THAT IS A LIE. You must know how to add, multiply, divide, and subtract fractions and decimals. Also, know basic conversions. All the basic conversions are on the HESI A2 Study guide. On an off note, what are my chances of getting into the nursing program? I have a 3.6 GPA and I got an 84 on the HESI A2. What would ya'll say? A pretty decent chance or nah?.....

B's in Human AP but a 3.5 GPA
So I finished this semester with B's in both Human Anatomy I & II. However, I have a 3.5 GPA and i'm going to take my HESI exam sometime next week and hopefully score AT LEAST an 80. What are my chances of getting into Nursing school? I have already submitted an application. I also have B's in both Chemistry I & II. I have yet to take Microbiology but this time I will definitely get an A. Are my chances pretty slim to get into nursing school or should I not even worry about that?
