After the second round of interviews, has anyone seen a change in their application status such as the message described above to those who did not pass round 1?

I interviewed last week. Three out of the 5 interviewed in my interview logged on to the application and saw the message, "Not hired." The two of us that didnt get that message still has the message saying "application forwarded to manager." I think we should hear by thursday or friday at the latest if you are invited back for a second interview. They were secretive about how that second interview format will go. Anyone know why its a secret?

Look what I found on the Sutter RN Strong site. They state that they consider you only if you are in the greater Sacramento and foothill area! I hope this is not true because I interviewed in January and was not chosen. A new set of RN Strong jobs opened and I have been called for a med/surge interview. I hope it is not an oversight on their part that they did not notice that the school I went to is not in Sacramento. I went to Samuel Merritt University but at the San Mateo location. There is a SMU in Sacramento but I did not attend that one. But I hope it's not an oversight because I clearly state on my resume where I went to school and where I did my clinicals. I am hoping I get this offer for med/surge. The first interview was for the CVIU, which I knew nothing about and had not clinical or preceptorship time dealing strictly with cardio. That may be a reason why I wasn't chosen because one of the panel members told me I did very well answering questions. I do live in Sacramento though, so I am not sure if that is leading to confusion but I hope they aren't wasting my time and didn't realize I didnt go to school in Sacramento and figure it out during the interview and then disqualify me. Has anyone inquired about this with RN Strong? If I do not get offered the Med/Surge job I will ask them if they are only considering those who went to school in Sacramento and foothill area.

As of now all of the interviews should be done. I am worrying and freaking out non-stop. I have signed into my application to check the status but it still says "Application in Review." I was hoping that they would make their decisions today and chabge our application status since Carrol said she will be starting to call at 0700 if you got the job. I won't be sleeping until after 0700, probably wont sleep all day. Anyone else have a status change? Please post here when you find out the results tomorrow. Thanks. My top 3 picks were as follows: 1. Intermediate ICU, 2. Med/Surge, 3. Cardiovascular ICU. What did you guys select? Do you think that we are limited to getting hired in one of the3 we chose even if we are willing to work in a different area, such as oncology? It would be nice to know which departments had however many openings. It would also be nice if we knew what everyone else selected at their top 3.

I got the call for an interview on December 24th. No one else in my class got called and many got turned down immediately after the personality test. The calls have been made already and they will hold interviews at the end of January 2015. Anyone else on here get an interview?

RunnerRN2b2014- I would say "trust it". I went through the skeptical stage hahaha. Check 24 hours after test time and you are safe. I'm in such shock that I think "I don't beleive it. Not until I see it in the mail. What if there is some mistake at the BRN?" you passed. Congrats!

That would be great. Please update us so we know! I tested on the 5th and got my results at 0500 this morning. I tested in Sacramento, California. What state are you in?

hi. The interim permit allows you to work under the direct supervision of an RN for 6 months before taking the nclex. However, if you take the nclex (pass or fail) your interim permit is no longer valid. You apply for the interim permit at the time you send in your application in. No biggie. You don't need an interim permit. If you had one you would know about it because you pay $50 for it. Update: I PASSED!!!!!

This waiting game for NCLEX results is horrible! Why can they not give us our grades right now? Why must we wait? Does they want to know how bad we want it and check how many times we checked the BRN in one hour or how many times we try to submit a payment to reregister on Pearson Vue just so we can make sure we keep getting the good pop up!? I think I've done each of those over 40 times today and I still don't know if I passed or not. I got the good pop up. My interim permit went from active to "canceled" and my initial RN exam is still pending/open. Now I'm just checking the board of registered nursing for my name pop up with the title RN next to it with your license number. Until then I cannot rest, I cannot sleep, I cannot eat, I cannot think.

Why all nurse should join the ANA! It is customary that Doctors join the AMA but it isn't customary among nurses to join the ANA. We need to grow in numbers and in strength and we do this by becoming a member of the ANA and encouraging and educating co-workers and other nurses to play their part and become a member!Did you know that nurses make up the largest percentage of healthcare workers? We outnumber doctors, therapists, medical aides and all other healthcare workers. This is why it is important for us to join the ANA (American Nurses Association) in order to gain power and have a political agenda that favors all nurses. In school we were taught about the importance of becoming a member of the ANA and how important it is that all nurses belong. Just like doctors have the American Medical Association, nurses have the American Nurses Association however; it is customary that all medical doctors join the AMA once they begin to practice. This commonality among doctors has not spread to the nursing community as of yet. The AMA works in favor of doctors and political decisions with fewer members than working nurses. Practicing nurses make up a large percentage of healthcare workers but this is not reflected by ANA. ANA works to benefit us as practicing nurses but first we must have enough people backing the association which means all nurses should sign up to become a member. Why should we all join? Why not!? It is a huge benefit to us as nurses. Weight behind this association gives up power to create policy and law. We need more members of the ANA in order to have a say in laws, policies, and rights. Please support all of the nurses and become a member of the ANA today. You can also donate to the political group that is represented by the ANA when singing up. This entity fights for our rights as nurses. With the highest number of working nurses in healthcare we should be number one in helping decide and change policies. In numbers we have strength. You can join the ANA and donate to the political division as well as becoming a member and participating actively. I hope to see many people sign up for membership through the American nurses Association and look forward to your feedback. Please share any information you have about the American nurses Association so that nonmembers can find their place in the American nurses Association. Hey, did you have to wait a whole day to see if you passed? I have been getting the good pop up after entering credit card info. After my interim permit was "cancelled" it tried signing up again and still got the good pop up. Interim is cancelled and initial is still pending/open. Will it take a whole day to get the results?

I am shaking and trembling too! My interim permit shows as cancelled and I have no idea if I passed or failed! I need lorazepam like "ClassValedictorian". Help. How long will it take to show my license? Should I keep rechecking tonight? I am freaking out.

Can you try to re-register before you take the test? What state are you taking the test in? I am in CA and hear that most are getting results on BRN within 48 hours.

As of December of 2014 many of my classmates who passed the NCLEX said that they had to enter their credit card information before they got the good pop up. I did the same thing. I started the process to sign up again and went all the way to the credit card page. I entered my credit card information and then went to the next page where you confirm and submit. I hit submit and then I get the good pop up and the site does not let me make a payment or re-register. I have been trying this every hour since I got home from the exam on the 5th at 1030. Today I am 29 hours out and still get the good pop up. California does not participate in the quick results so now I am unable to do anything because I am so worried. The classmates I know about taking the exam saw their names posted on the BRN within 48 hours. I guess I will probably have to wait until 1030 tomorrow to wait 48 hours if my name is posted on the CA BreEZe site. Does anyone know someone who got the good pop up and wasnt able to re-register but then they found out they failed? That is my only worry.

What is life if you do not take risks? I risked the $200 since I would have to reschedule anyway if I did fail. I got the good pop up but still waiting for results.

What is the "bad pop up?" Where should I look for it to say "delivery successful?"

Wait, so you went to the credit card page and it accepted your payment? I go to the credit card page and fill it out and then I get the pop up when I go to submit it.

did u try the PVT the first time? Did it show up?

I have not gotten my results yet but I have tried to sign up with Pearson Vue about 15 times now. Im about 36 hours after test day and each time it took me to the credit card page. I put my credit card info in each time and hit submit. It is not until you hit submit that you get the good pop-up anymore.
