  1. Hi all! Just wanted to provide an update - I received my acceptance letter in the mail last Thursday (1/29). Woohoo! Granted, I live 5 miles from campus so that is probably the reason it came so fast in the mail. Hope you all get your letters soon!
  2. Hello! I'm applying to Queens ABSN program, I'm just in the process of finishing up a few prerequisites this semester and plan to submit my application before Christmas. This is the only program that I am applying to - as I live here in Charlotte and am not planning on leaving due to family commitments here. I have two bachelor degrees from Appalachian State. My current cumulative GPA is 3.607 and prerequisite GPA is a 4.00. Hopefully it won't vary much with my remaining prerequisites (I have Human Anatomy & Physiology II, Microbiology and Nutrition in progress). I am a little worried that Queens is the only school I am applying to, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that my GPA is good enough. If I don't make it into the ABSN program, I plan to apply to the 2 year BSN program.
  3. Hello! I wanted to start a thread to see if there are any other students out there who have applied or are going to apply to Queens University of Charlotte's 2015 ABSN program. I am in the process of finishing the last of my prerequisites this fall semester and plan to submit my application prior to Christmas. Has anyone applied to other schools? Is Queens your top choice? Also, is there anyone who is a current student within the ABSN program? I would love to hear anyone's feedback about the intensity and quality of the program.
