Hi guys! I haven't posted much on this thread but everyone's information has been super helpful! I was accepted for the FNP track and am coming from LA! I will be deciding whether or not to go to Columbia based mostly on financial aid and visit day I think, as I am deciding between this and other schools. I am applying for on campus housing, but am half expecting not to get it since I hear it's super competitive and based on your distance from school? Since there's so many of us coming from California does that mean we can't expect to get housing? Does anyone know how far were people from who received on campus housing last year? Also on the loans front, if you are over 24, did you include your parent's income anyways on the FAFSA? I didn't as of now, but am rethinking that decision since including my parent's income would increase my purchasing power... any thoughts? I'm from LA, but also from California! It's going to be such a transition to move to the east coast! I'm excited!! Do they start a Facebook group for us? The girl who was a current student at our interview for the FNP track gave us her email. I'm going to see if she can give further insight into housing while we wait for any news from the school in that regard. I'll keep everyone posted.

Hi everyone! I'm also interviewing for Penn's FNP specialty and I'm from California. I'm pretty sure I'm going to come to the in-person interview, and am wondering if anyone knows the deadline to decide phone vs. in-person? Also, I agree with the "over-dressed is better than under-dressed" concept, but how does being in the snow affect business attire? Do we wear a heavy peacoat or something over a blazer/suit top?
