  1. I took my test at 11AM PST, and got out a little over an hour later and been doing it almost every 15 minutes lol.. I'm just a bit skeptical as well!
  2. Has anyone gotten a good pop up early and then reverse to a bad pop up and fail?
  3. Has anyone gotten a good pop up early and then reverse to a bad pop up and fail?
  4. Is there a certain time frame that you need to check PVT? Because I finished my test in little over an hour and was wondering if its too early..
  5. Just finished my exam and shut off at 75. I honestly feel like I did terrible. Lost count of how many SATA and I was just all over the place. However, I just tried the PVT and got this: Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time. Please tell me this is the good pop up!

  8. I finished my UWorld qbank with an average of 53%. I was starting off really terrible at the beginning and that's part of the reason why my score has been low. As of lately I've been ranging from 50's as high as 62's being the highest. I took my self-assessment spontaneously last week just to know my probability and did better than I thought with a 66% resulting in a Very High Chance with a 92% probability of passing. I kinda also just breezed through my Hurst qBank on my first test on got a 75/125 (they said 77/125 is high pass) I am just hoping this translates into the real NCLEX as I take it tomorrow! I am just being consumed by the stress and anxiety at this point.
  9. I also just did one of my Hurst Q Review and got a 75/125.. Granted I guess I didn't focus too much. I just wanted to see where I stand ballpark wise. Do you think I'll be ok?
  10. Did you use UWorld at all? I used Hurst and UWorld and I'm just hoping that is enough to pass. I did get a 92% (highly chance of passing) on my UWorld predictor so hopefully that means something. I take my test tomorrow and I'm just burnt out!
  11. You still got time. In the mean time, try UWorld. You always bottom out when you start and its encouraging to see improvements as you progress. I test in a few days and although I'm probably just as nervous as you are, I feel like my test taking and my knowledge is improving because of UWorld.. Hopefully it will pay off for the both of us.
  12. Really depends on what your weakness is. I did Hurst and I felt it was good in terms of content review. Granted you still need to go back and study the book you filled out but it was good overall. Also try UWorld. I'm sure everyone here has talked about it once or twice already and it seems to work for a lot of people. I graduated the same time as you. Why did you test so early if you don't mind me asking and what was your study technique before taking your first exam?
  13. I'm sorry to hear that. In all honesty I've only heard good things about UWorld. Did you take the time to read through all the rationales? I take my test this week and basically reinforced mainly UWorld and Hurst for content review.
  14. I think the problem is confidence on my end. Even when i saw a high predictability of passing I almost felt like it was luck that I got that. I have to keep telling myself that I'm going to be a nurse by the end of next week. Best of wishes to you. Lets keep each other updated. I'm just being consumed by stress and anxiety at the moment to the point where I just want to get it over with.
  15. I'm at 53% on UWorld and my test is on February 2nd. I've been recently seeing an increase in scores lately because when I began I would only get high 40s and low 50s but I haven't gotten anything lower than low 50s in a while now. I recently took my UWorld self-assessment and got a 66.7% with a 92% predictability (very high chance of passing). Part of me doubts myself especially knowing that I'm not too great of a test taker throughout school and especially seeing myself choose stupid obvious wrong answers on UWorld from time to time. I'm just hoping I have the confidence and the nerves to pass the first time!
  16. This is for the RN test right?
  17. I have about 300 questions left with an average of 53% on my UWorld. I was starting off really terrible at the beginning and that's part of the reason why my score has been low. As of lately I've been ranging from 50's as high as 62's being the highest. I just took my self-assessment out of spontaneously out of curiosity and anxiety to know my probability and did better than I thought with a 66% resulting in a Very High Chance with a 92% probability of passing. I am just hoping this translates into the real NCLEX (take it in early February). I am just being consumed by the stress and anxiety at this point.
  18. the bookstore seems to keep messing up my order.. first time around they forgot to give me my skills bag and now it seems like they forgot to give me the med-surgical nursing textbook as well.. anyone else having problems ordering the package from these guys?
  19. Are you talking about the e-portfolio?
  20. Hello guys, I might be a bit off topic but I had a question since this was the only recent CSULB thread I can find. Anyways, I'm interested in their RN-BSN program in a year and had a question regarding their admissions process. Under their information flyer it says under the requirements that: Admission Requirements for the School of Nursing:  Graduation from an accredited Associate Degree Program in Nursing (ADN). If you have graduated from a RN Diploma program, you must obtain a community college evaluation of their nursing school transcripts for junior college credit before applying to the nursing program.  Grade of C” or better in all courses. When they say Grade "C" or better in all courses? Do they mean C or better in your whole college career or just your Associates in Nursing courses because I have a bachelors from my previous course work and needless to say I didn't do quite well due to personal reasons.
  21. Out of the list of recommended textbooks, if I'm not mistaken, we need the drug handbook right? Does anyone know which one is preferred?
  22. Does anyone happen to know what the set schedule is? I know on WebAdvisor it gives you set times for the lab and the lecture seminars and what not but I'm looking at the schedule given at intake for the first 2 weeks and it seems to me that we're staying presumably a lot later than the time written on WebAdvisor. Is it because it's just the first 2 weeks of school or is the schedule really unpredictable? It's just that I need to set my availability for work and I really do not know what to tell them in terms of my availability once school commences.
  23. Does anyone know the difference between NRN-11A, 11B and 11C? I know they're labs but A is only .5 units, where as 11B is 1, and 11C is 2?
  24. I am cleared and registered!! Just a question for all of you though.. I have the book list here but I'm not sure which one is mandatory or which packages include which books?
  25. this is an optional class that was mentioned at intake correct?
