  1. I trying to find the best NCLEX prep courses/reviews too. I graduated 10 years ago so I have a long way. I have heard from peers & others nurses that UWorld, Mark Klimek, & Archer are the most recommended & successful. Archer is good for questions/qbank to practice. Mark Klimek has a web site, https://klimekreviews.com/ & does offer review sessions, some cities & online, but you have to pay.
  2. Hi! Thank you so much. This information really helps. It’s so hard to figure out how to do everything & do it correctly. I really appreciate your help ?
  3. I am planning to take the NCLEX in Florida and then apply for endorsement to Georgia. I was wondering what the requirements were for endorsement. It has been 10 years since I graduated and I don't know what I will need to do. Did you all have to do any remedial program or clinical hours in the state you are/were licensed. Where there any other requirements other than p***ing the NCLEX and fullfilling the necessary requirements on the application. Last question: Do you have to work in any required area/hospital for any time before you can apply for your desired position? Thank you!
  4. Hi, I was wondering if anyone currently has a BSN, but is not licensed. I am applying for Spring and am still trying to learn all the requirements and process for application. I don't know if my previous prerequisites could possibly be accepted even if they are beyond the 7 year requirement. Good luck to everyone!!
  5. Congratulations again. I appreciate all the information you were willing to share. I am still planning to take the NCLEX out of state, in Florida, due to Georgia's 3 year limit. I was curious where you decided to take the NCLEX and get licensed. Did you have to work in that state for any period of time or have to take any remedial or refresher courses with clinical time? Thank you so much and I hope to be as successful as you have been!
  6. hi, I am late to read this discussion, but am in a very similar situation. Does anyone know what type of refresher course to take in Georgia? It has been 10 years since I graduated and I only took the NCLEX one time, and failed. I am planning on taking the NCLEX in Florida and applying of endorsement. I want to find a refresher course and also find a way to get clinical experience. Does anyone know the best way to get clinical experience to help with employment? Also, does anyone know where to find 'Suzannes plan?' Thank you!!
  7. Congratulations! Thank you for sharing your story, and it is a story that means a lot for me personally. I am in a similar situation and hoping to take the NCLEX. I find myself doubting if it possible and feeling overwhelmed and lost. Would you mind sharing how you learned the steps needed to take the NCLEX? Did you do a preceptorship? I received my BSN 10 years ago, but never took the NCLEX. You have so much to be proud of and I am encouraged by your story and success.
  8. I graduated 10 years ago from Emory in Georgia. I am looking to take the NCLEX in Florida. Do you know have an unlimited time frame to take the NCLEX?
  9. Hi chicagoboy, Thanks for this information. How did you find out you could take a refresher program rather than having to take another RN 2 yr program. Also, where did you find out how/where to take the refresher program? I'm in Georgia, which also has a 3 yr cap, and I'm trying to learn my options in re taking the NCLEX. Im thinking of taking it in another state that doesn't have a cap or time limit. Did you look into this option? thank you so much!
  10. Ok thanks so much, juan de la cruz. Hopefully Georgia, my state, provides or accepts a remedial course because I definitely don't/can't do another 2 year program.
  11. Hi Im in the same situation, having my eligibility expire this year. I was wondering if Wisconsin asks for proof of primary residency. How did you address taking the test in a different state? Or was it not an issue? Also, did you just apply for licensure or did you do licensure by endorsement. I've been out three years and you are an inspiration as you also have a family!
  12. Hi, To all the wonderful amazing nurses/nursing students/practitioners etc...I need some help:) I am hoping that someone can offer me some direction, information, or advice in re to my current situation. I graduated Emory SON in 2010; however due to personal reasons I was unable to study for and then take the NCLEX exam on time. Georgia Board of Nursing has a three year time limit from the time you graduate to the time you must pass the NCLEX. Because of my situation, the Georgia Board did grant me a short extension to prepare for the NCLEX. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to study enough or really get prepared and therefore I failed the NCLEX. I would love any suggestions or if ya'll have information on what step(s) I can take to be eligible to take the NCLEX again. I can't go through a BSN program again and am wondering if there are other options to become eligible to take the NCLEX and become licensed. Thank you so much and any advice is greatly appreciated !!! xxx
