  1. Hi everyone! I was accepted into the fall '15 program as well and am so so excited!! I'll be moving from Oregon so I am searching for an apartment too. Any one else from out of state settle for one yet?
  2. Hi there! I was just wondering if there was any one else on here that got accepted and is attending the Roseman University of Health Sciences BSN class of 2017 program!? I am super excited and would love to meet some of my new classmates! :)
  3. Hi everyone! Congrats on getting in, i'm sure you're so excited! I am applying for summer as well but I will be in the second pool of applicants. I have a 3.7 but I haven't taken the TEAS yet. I am taking it in a week and a half and am so so nervous! I took the HESI and got an 84 but I heard that the TEAS is a little harder so i'm not sure I will do as well. You guys both did so good on yours! Do you have any tips? Also, does anyone know how many spots they have for summer?
  4. I never got asked for three choices either, only one. Which is why I was under the impression the whole time that each different campus had their own pool of applications. I also think a lottery system is extremely unfair. She kept on telling us to do our best in everything when according to their standards it doesn't matter how well you do for us transfers, as long as you meet the requirements it's just the luck of the draw.
  5. Scrubgirl88, have you heard if they are getting rid of the BSN program at your campus?
  6. Wow I just looked and it seems like that to me as well. Well that's lovely! Everyone's chances just went drastically down. I thought they weren't making changes till spring term.
  7. Manda30, i'm shocked you got wait listed with those scores! Those are really good! Congrats on getting into the CEP program though! I'm currently looking into it the mesa/asu program. Is that your overall gpa or pre req gpa if you don't mind me asking?
  8. D.flores, can I apply for the CEP without being on the WL for maricopa? Also, I can't get any answers from advisors! So I can't figure out if you apply for the CEP with the community college you plan to get your associates from, or the university you plan to get your BSN from?
  9. I'm with D.flores, i'm not so sure I trust them after how they have handled this whole situation. The whole accreditation review also worries me after I hear people are complaining about the program and what not.
  10. Having a hard time finding anything! Looking like spring may be my only option too. Especially since I'm not even on the maricopa wait list yet
  11. Looking into the CEP program at Mesa and trying to find other schools that are still accepting apps for fall.
  12. I never get them either! It kind of worries me but I guess it really doesn't matter anymore!
  13. I don't know too much about the cep program but all I have heard is that there is a long wait list to be able to even apply. Is that true?
  14. 6 million wow that's insane and exactly why I feel like there is more to the story. Through the whole process I was told all the waiting was because they were short staff so the story keeps changing. I mean there is nothing we can do about it now we've all already made fools out of ourselves it feels like. It's just really unfortunate that we had to wait so long to find out because I'm sure we all have had other options that we passed on because we had hoped that this was a good option that would work out and now basically all the other deadlines have passed.
  15. I personally feel like we aren't getting the whole truth and once again they are beating around the bush and being very vague about things like they have been through this entire process. I don't understand how a school that is for-profit would do this as it seems they will be losing a lot of money, which is exactly why I think there is more to the story. Their supposed reasoning was because they couldn't "acquire spots" for the summer so they were going to focus their efforts on fall. Which I don't quite understand what they mean by that at all. It is clear that they don't care what they are doing or have done and they have simply handled all of this the completely wrong way, which they have got to know.
  16. That's what I heard too. Hopefully it'll be this week!
  17. @Maycation, I just realized my message isn't going through! I think they officially disabled the PM's for peopler with less than 15 posts but since no one is using this thread anymore i'll reply to you on here ha, sorry! That's exactly what i'm wondering!! It's not like people were allowed to submit stuff after the deadline so I don't understand why they waited so long! I didn't even notice that other people had replied to your thread! Oh my gosh now I'm super nervous after hearing what everyone said! ha ah! That is weird that almost everyone is applying to st joes and I wonder how that one person was able to apply to two campuses? But there also is only a few of you so i'm sure you're fine! I don't remember what year it was, I feel like it was last spring maybe, but I remember that everyone on the thread that applied to st. joes had gotten in and there were quite a few of them! Super worried about getting in to main now. I'm starting to second guess my decision and I probably should have stuck with my original SHC choice :/ oh well! I wonder if you'd be able to ask if you could switch over to boswell? Wouldn't hurt to try I guess. Awesome job on your last test! An 88 is still great girl! Especially for A&P! I ended up getting a 92% on my last lab test so I now have a 96% in lab but I still have a 100% in lecture. Also, my nutrition class is going much better thankfully :). I forget, are you taking the 8 week a&p course?
  18. Hi everyone! I am the other person that has been talking with Maycation. I applied to the main campus with a 3.6 and i'm not a GCU student so all these posts are making me so nervous!! I had also heard that main campus was the hardest to get into and I originally was going to apply to Scottsdale but both my advisor and the director of nursing suggested I apply for the main campus so I just hope they are right! Anyway, I wanted to let you all know that the director of the program said this past weekend that she was making decisions for main campus this monday (aka the 23rd) and then was sending them off to the enrollment team but wasn't sure when they would send out the emails. So I feel like those of us applying to the main should know any day now! Not sure about the other campuses, but I imagine we all find out at relatively the same time? Hopefully because this waiting game is no fun!! Good luck to you all! :)
  19. Hi Aly! I just got your message but unfortunately I don't have enough posts to apply in a private message so i'm just replying to you on here, sorry! You did awesome on the Hesi great job! I almost took A&P 2 at rio but I got a little worried after reading all the reviews! How has it been so far? Are any of your tests proctored? I did a ton of research on online anatomy classes and the one i'm taking isn't too bad but it is definitely a lot of work! Holy cow though I didn't think about just doing everything at once for patho that is a good idea. Did you use your book for the essays in patho? I haven't bought the book yet and i'm trying to decide if i'm going to need it or not. I got my last few things (Hesi scores and background check) sent to GCU this week just in time! I was worried for a minute that they wouldn't get there in time but thankfully they did! Now comes the waiting game how are you feeling about it all? Jacqueline
  20. That's what I have heard so i'm hoping i'll be good! Unfortunately, I ended up having to take all three at different schools! Kind of a pain but it was the only way it could work! I am taking patho online at Rio Salado, A&P 2 online at University of South Florida and Nutrition at my local community college (Portland Community College). Which pre-req are you finishing this term?
  21. Hi @Reneahh and @Maycation! I was thinking no one was ever going to answer! A 3.9 is awesome! I'm sure you will have no problem getting in. I ended up with a 3.625 overall GPA but I am taking my last 3 pre-reqs this term (A&P 2, Patho, and Nutrition). I also scored an 84 on the HESI test and i'm not a GCU student, I am a transfer from Oregon. How did you guys do on the HESI? I am applying to the fast track on the main campus, i'm hoping my stats will be enough! This is getting super nerve racking!!
  22. Hi there! Is anyone else applying to GCU summer fast track program? I am not sure which campus I am applying to yet. I would love to be on the main campus or St. Joe's but I am not sure which one I have a better chance getting in to. I currently have a 3.66 and have gotten A's and B's in all my pre req's, including science. However, I have had the hardest time in Anatomy this term and may possibly be getting a C+. Does any one know if I still have a chance at getting in? Also, I will be taking the HESI at the end of December!
