Hello,Can one work a parttime job whiles waiting for the employer that petitioned for you to get you a position with EAD? . I got my ss# about a month ago and the employer has still not gotten a position for me. Secondly, can one work partime for another institution and full time for this employer? thank you

Hi, I believe so because my i-140. i-485 and i-765 was received by USCIS on Oct 31. I saw they had withdrawn the cheques over the weekend and got the letters of receipts on Monday. I am trusting God for a miracle and hope you are too.

am a foregn nurse who have never worked here in the states. and am contemplating on working with them because they are sponsoring for green card. can any one advice me, what is the work like? thanx for your reply

hello suzanne and everybody. Does anyone know of any hospital in pennsylvania or around that sponsors?. am getting frustrated and the only people ready to sponsor are the agencies. From what i have heard on this forum ,i dont want to get myself into it but now its like there are no options. please i need your advice. what about firms that recruit for hospitals? are they also like the agencies? pls pls help. thanx

yes i agree with you strongly. am having thue same problem here in pa. calling them is waste of time and energy. you can filll the forms on line or pick up the forms at the hospital. even with that they call you for an interview and after they get to know of your work eligibility they turn you down. its hard but still trusting God for a miracle.

hi, i know how you are feeling now!! just take it cool . call Pa BON and they will tell you if you've been issued a lincense. thats how i got mine. all the best

hi everybody, want to know if one needs to write cgfns in other to make her eligible to write the nclex-pn exams as a foreign trained nurse ? a friend of mine in NJ wrote the exams in 2000 with nj BON but failed. she has decided to write it again. she went to the BON and was told that she needs to write the cgfns exams and toefl before she can register. Is this right? i have never heard any lpn writing cgfns. what should she do now. thanx for your replies

hi suzanne, hhappy new year to you and all on this forum. i started looking for employers as you adviced but almost all the hopitals in our area are not sponsoring for aos or GC. i went to an interview y'day and they were ready to hire me till she got to know i ve no working permit. what should i do now ? pls help

hi suzanne, as you know am thru with the nclex, and on h4 visa.. have applied for visascreen cert some mths back. its only left with the scores for TSE. my question is, can l look for an employer to start the petitioning for me whiles the visascreen is not ready. on my cgfns account i have " waiting for passing english score" on it. should i wait till everything is complete before looking for an employer. please i need your advice. thanx

hi, can someone pls tell me how many days it takes pa bon to post their unofficial results for nclex. i want to know b'cos PA does not participate in the quick results with pearsonvue, am i right? pls i need an answer

hi everyone, does any one know how to check your results with pa bon? if yes , how do i go about it. just returned from pearsonvue centre , you can imagine the anxiety and the feelings am in right now.had lots of priority, no calc and some drug questions. the computer shut of at 90++++ couldnt see the exact no but i suppose it was less than 100. am staying put and trusting GOD.

hi suzanne,actually am using saunders and your study plan. and my scores in general are in the mid and high 70's. also with all other areas my scores are ok. i decided to just try my hands on the kaplan question trainer since i had it. my scores on it are in themid 50's and low 60's. i also performed well in the comprehension and knowledge but bad in the application and analysis(critical thinking). so thats my problem now. are my scores ok in saunders? my nclex rn is just around the corner. pls help soon!! i know you would and thanx. am trusting GOD for victory & success.

hi suzanne and every body,i ve some few weeks to write the nclex rn exams. i ve been using suzannes study guide and saunders review book and have done more than 2000 questions. started in the 60's and now in the 70's. my question is , as you do the most of the multiple category, some ques keep repeating. so i switched to the Q&A cd. is that ok? are my scores ok?pls help as i ve only some few wks to go. thanx
