I am sorry if I came off as if asking this question (but really it was what would you *fight* over) NO! No, I really am sorry, that was definitely not my intention. I was more sitting with tweety birds around my head feeling like, excuse me!! There are so many ethical issues in nursing and how we are seen professionally by some is problematic. I missed how the first team responded, so I'm not sure if enema was a given answer. Really wouldn't surprise me. I completely agree the treatment of nurses is disturbing, and yes!! Get the fire hose!!

Oh there are a lot of other things to get upset about for sure. In this instance though, being portrayed as someone fighting over " hot male patients" just got under my skin for some reason! I have seen the awful nurse costumes, some episodes of shows where nurses are portrayed quite incorrectly, been told "aww, you should've gone to medical school!" But there in front of me was an audience chanting "taking temperatures up butt!" I don't know how they have figured out our secrets...really grinds my gears!

The question pretty much asked what task a nurse would fight to perform on a hot male patient... i only saw this because I was in a waiting room but the answers were to give a sponge bath, take a temperature (rectal), give a needle, or take their blood pressure............... I know this is a game show and I don't know who is surveyed for these questions or answers but for someone not taken off guard too easily I was pretty confused by the stereotyping. Thought it was interesting to mention.

I have an associates as a new grad and got hired at a psych facility in mass, my other associates friends work in nursing homes or ltacs that are in western ma.. very competitive over here! Best of luck :)

No not a difficult time because of only psych experience, I think overall it's a heavy workload which makes it difficult

A girl I work with is a psych nurse doing a FNP program.. another friend of mine did an accelerated bachelors program with direct entry into an fnp program and is now an fnp without any work experience. So yes, I believe so
