You're lucky! At my facility we are 26:1. I care for 26 people at a time while doing everything that you stated.

No they won't pass you over because you are small. There are plenty of people all sizes and shapes where i work.

It will be hard. When I did it my brain was fried after work. I was so tired! I did it. But I wouldn't personally ever do it again. It was especially hard to study and do homework after class!

I am currently a Minnesota nursing assistant and have been working as an aide for almost a year. I am on the registry and everything. I plan on moving to wisconsin . I wanted to transfer my license over but I do not have enough classroom/clinical hours according to Wisconsin registry requirements. I have 103.5 hours of both classroom and clinicals. Wisconsin requires 120 classroom hours and 25 clinical hours. Is there any way I can just take a refresher course to get those extra 40 hours? Or do I have to completely take the class over again? Or can I just test out through Pearson vue? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
