  1. php 900 for the white CARE uniform
  2. heya! sorry for the late reply. They only hire those who have a board rating of 80 above...as far as I know. They will offer you another position if you have
  3. Try to look at ANSAP's website for an ivt schedule or go the hospital near your place and ask if they are conducting an Ivt. Try to inquire at the Red Cross regarding their BLS,ACLS package.
  4. yes. mmc is hiring. I heard that they have another batch of CARE trainees this august. try completing your requirements. they don't collect fees for their training program.
  5. There is still hope. tricity, vrp, mmc are hiring. try passing your CV to as many hospitals as possible. Don't lose faith. if you are willing to pay, SLMC, Capitol, TMC, Asian, Worldciti, Cardinal are conducting a post graduate training and there's a high chance of being absorbed. Godspeed.
  6. VRP and MakatiMed are hiring. You need to have a board rating of 80 above. There's no harm in trying anyway. St.lukes GC, Capitol, CardinalSantos, WorldCiti are conducting a PGNT. There's a fee and heard that there's a high possibility of being absorbed. keep the faith guys.
  7. There is no opening for a staff nurse position. There are still 3 batches that are for manpooling. They already stop their screening process as of the moment. The first three batches were asked for another position instead.
  8. I think this hospital is late in texting their applicants.I took the exam last week of January this year. They texted/ivited me for an interview this friday but I didn't go because I changed my mind and I realized that I don't want to work in a hospital. I am working in a different field right now. Anyway, keep your faith guys. :)
  9. hi mochikuchi!! now I wonder how many are we in our batch... I feel you. I really don't know what to do right now. The waiting game is killing me inside. I am also not sure if my medicals are clear because the hr haven't contacted me yet. I think we should just hope for the best the they will contact us sooner.
  10. hi @pls04!! are you done with your medicals/requirements? I read the whole thread and I found out that we both passed our resume last September and finally got a text this Feb inviting us to take the exam. and,.. most probably, we will be on the same batch but I'm still waiting for their text on when to pass the requirements.
  11. hi pls04!! :)) haha, we're both active in this forum eh? :)) @datablitz hi! SLMC-GC..
  12. In Metro North, you will just fill-up a form in their information area and you will need to submit a 1x1 pic and that's it. they didn't get my resume or anything. Providence Hospital- just leave your resume to the guard. I really don't know the requirements because the guard just asked for my resume but I included all the credentials that are vital in my application (tor, board rating. cert, license). Pacific Global - I also passed the ff: resume, tor, board rating. cert, license.. the hr personnel told me to go back next week for an interview and exam. o.O
  13. hey!! let's give our fellow colleagues some positivity :) try and try until we succeed. :) haha. I'm on my 3rd wk of hospital-hunting next week,,.. Goodluck to all of us.
  14. whoa! thank you for that information. that will really help a lot of us who were scared just by the thought of that 'good-looking nurses'. :) but unluckily, they started their training already so I'll just wait for another update on when they will be hiring again.
  15. thank you for that information. I can see the enthusiasm in your post. :) goodluck on your training!
  16. @fissure awwwww.. I was just blinded by my experience wherein my former colleagues, those who have a well-known relative/s (e.g. actors, politicians, doctors) went through the same training that we did in my previous institution... Oh well, I forgot that we're in The Philippines. The Padrino system. bow. Care to share? anyway, that will be out of topic so i'll ask you through PM.
  17. @astrocyte do you happen to know if their JCIA preparation/accreditation has already ended? I know that the accreditors will just be around for a week. The preparation is what keeps them busy. I'll try my luck again next2 week. :)
  18. @fissure how many are you during your training? how many months? I'm on my 3rd week of hospital-hunting. err.. I am really praying for December to come. I'm sure that there'll be a lot of vacancies for us :) oh, I didn't know that there's this PM thing in here.. will check that out :)
  19. @pls04 I'm sorry to hear that.. You've exhausted all your resources but still to no avail. You did your best and that's more than enough. God is preparing us for something bigger and better. I've noticed that those JCIA hospitals don't have that much 'backer system' compared to those public institutions. Let's just hope for the best and prepare for the worst in our hospital-hunting. I'm on my second week of waiting..
  20. @astrocyte.. I'm sorry, I got it wrong... I passed my credentials last week of August. (I'll just edit my post.) thanks for the reply. oh, so it's a JCIA month for them last month..Thanks for the info. I was a trainee in another JCIA hospital last year so I didn't pursue my application here. I am more than happy to let you know if ever I receive a text from them. But if after a month and there's still no invite, I'll pass my credentials again..
  21. @fissure! heyyah! yeap. I'm into hospital-hunting right now so I'm kind of like a lurker and a frequent poster in this forum. :) too bad, I wanted to get in this hospital because it's near my place. I hope that they do find a time to contact me.. for your replacement.. may I know the reason why you left this institution? is this a paid training?
  22. hi @fissure! are you from WVSU? thanks for the reply. You are of great help in answering our queries.
  23. hi @astrocyte! I passed my resume last week of August. But still got no call/text from them. When did you passed your credentials? Last year of October my friend and I were texted to take their IQ exam. She passed her credentials 3 months before I passed mine but we were contacted on the same week of October. just a thought, maybe they were hiring during October to prepare for December's resignee's (if there's such a term) edited to add: my friend is already a staff nurse here. I didn't take the exam last year because I was already a trainee in another hospital.
  24. whew! just finished reading this thread. i have a question though, do you think that they consider the school that you graduated for you to take their exam? Goodluck to you guys! I am hoping that you get in so that you can help some aspirants like me in what to expect during the training. waiting is really the most stressful part but if you give your best in the exam, then just think that it's TMC's loss. December is 2 months away, I'm pretty sure that there'll be high demand for new nurses. But still, 2 months is 2 months. Now's the time for some hospital-hopping adventure again. Sorry for quite a long post. I was just overwhelmed that you are really updating us (*lurkers*).
  25. Some of us withdrew before being a staff because we do not want the unit that we are in. You are right, nursing is really a vocation, if you do not have the heart you really can't survive being a nurse. I'm glad you did. I quit because I was exhausted and not yet ready to dive into reality so i take a hiatus. Unluckily, after so many months of enjoying my so-called freedom from this field, I realized that I still wanted to become a nurse.. just a piece of advise to those st.luke's hopefuls, have a straight mindset in what you want and never ever give-up. In our batch, almost half of us didn't even pursue. Some were happy in their newly chosen career, and some were like me... still wanted to pursue a career in nursing.. in another institution *cross-fingers*. Actually, there is a damage fee if you withdraw your contract. You will pay for the training, the certificates and the like.
