  3. Good to know. thanks!
  4. Yea I just googled it and it says I can join if I'm a student going for my RN . It does sound snobbish 😂 I really do want to join something some association for nurses I'm sure there's more.
  5. Can LPN's join the ANA or is it only for Registered Nurses ?
  6. Thanks! 👍🏼
  7. I'm looking for liability insurance. Does anyone know what's the best Liability Insurance company out there?
  8. Disagree. The nurse job is totally different can not be compared. I have never been a CNA but I was a critical care tech in the e.r and even that is different but every nurse has different responsibilities as well because a e.r nurse does far more than a nurse on a regular floor at a hospital. Nurse at LTC does different than nurse in ICU . Now I'm a LPN and working home are and that's different than being in acute or LTC so that's not very good advice
  9. Wow that's good you found work so fast congrats
  10. I was asked about leadership skills during interview but I'm a new LPN graduate . What do you all think about that?

I don't know all I know is LPN to RN program is 15months long and I start when everyone that's doing the RN program starts.

Wow I never heard of that. That sounds crazy. That's not fair for students who are new nurses without experience...well I'm in New York...I'm attending CUNY Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn NY

  16. I think anything is possible in this world..."you think they will not accept her after failing" but she hasn't tried. Honestly, anything is possible with prayer dedication and hard work...I believe she can make it. Let's say she passes the third try after previously failing twice, don't you think that shows how much she tried and that she successfully achieved her goal. Not only achieved but Nursing isn't a piece of cake easy so of course maybe it's just a lil harder for her but it doesn't mean she can't be a great great nurse.

I just finished LPN in October and I feel ready...but with everyone saying it's so hard I'm wondering what makes it harder?

Heyyyy everyone...I'm starting the RN bridge program next month. I'm excited and a lil nervous. Anyway why are people telling me it's so hard?
  20. I'm so glad I'm in New Jersey/New York
  21. Hey you wanted advice everyone tells you to give up and move on to another career but you finally decide your not giving up. Listen if you know what you want don't even bother quitting just brush the failures off and keep pushing I know easier said than done but U can do it. You're only one class away just get yourself together pray and be confident...the part when you said, " I tend to change your answers" tells me you get nervous and your not confident about your answers. When you take an exam before you go in there and you know your stuff don't doubt yourself you know your stuff you can't let yourself get in your own way ...take a break go to work wait couple months then get back at it...you can do it 👍
  22. Also depends on the facility. But most of the new grads I know just started at $23/hr.
  23. In New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York the LPN pay rate $18. - $26.
  24. Thank you all 😃
