If you know the employee well enough to give them a reference why refer them to HR just because the employee didn't inform you?

Congratulations on your new position. Your letter sounds good to me. In my case I am leaving my clinic job (great hours) for the hospital due to relocation.

I got same experience! They kind of raise your hopes and bump you right back. I applied for an ICU position at parkland in Dallas, was referred to med Surg and didn't hear back from them after numerous follow-up emails. Well it's not over yet

@Mari O I feel the same. Applied to so many RN positions in the DFW area and no luck.

@ KW-TS Do you still work at Parkland? 2 yrs ICU LTACH and 1 yr corrections nursing experience. Applied to various positions at Parkland but no response.
