    BON stated they cannot answer with a simple yes or no. they handle each case on an individual basis. i would have to get approval from an approved nursing school first. Once the nursing schools approves me, then i would have to get approval from them. i would have to submit an application ( i can only get it from the nursing schools that approves me) and BON would let me know. I wouldn't want to waste my time in school then get turned down.]

    hi i live in the state of Louisiana i want to got to school for nursing but i have a criminal record of theft that is a felony that is expunged from my record can i stll persue a career in nursing?? Anybody with similar experience are welcome to answer?
