  1. I will l finish my LPN program in December, and for me my powerpoints have been like a bible. My work book assignments are also another source for me. Sometimes I'll read powerpoints at least 15 times a piece, and so far it's kept me with high scores. I'm totally sticking to this method. Good luck to you !
  2. Love this.......this is so encouraging! I recently failed out of my RN program in March I was devastated, switched to a different school and started an Lpn program instead and I'm doing beautifully....when I'm finished I'll pursue my RN and go on to get my BSN and MSN!
  3. I am 38 and started a 2yr program October 2015. I thought I was too old to go back but when my job decreased my pay I had no other choice. I've worked as a cna since 2002 and put off going to school, and with my kids getting older I figured now is the right time. I have learned so much in this short amount of time that I've attended college and can wait to graduate. Good luck to you on your journey to become a nurse!
  4. I am going to school to become a nurse because after soo many years of being a nurse aide I've seen a lot and I've done alot. I have became close to residents when working in a nursing homes only to watch them pass. I have done hospice care and watched my client be reanimated with his pacemaker and not run out of the room lol, I'd say it's got to be a calling. I'm a nurturing person, a people person and perform well under stress so I guess that's why I've lasted this long.
  5. Hi everyone, I am very undecided about what I should use during nursing school. Ebooks or textbooks? I need to decide soon since school starts October 1st. What are your thoughts or suggestions on this and what are you using?
  6. Congratulations!!
  7. I will also start Nursing School this October. I'm eager to get started because I'm an Independent Home Health Provider and my position is slowly being phased out by the state. Good luck on your journey though!
