  1. Hey guys, I'll be starting the PNP-AC program at UCSF this fall too. I don't know anyone in our cohort yet, so I made a facebook group to hopefully relay some information to each other about classes, pre-clinical requirements, etc. Here is the link below: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2755453951351197 Hope to meet you guys soon! Mel
  2. Hi everyone!!! Congrats to everybody this is such an exciting time!! I'm currently trying to decide between UCLA and Johns Hopkins. I'm from California so I'm mostly concerned about the cost of Johns Hopkins. Does anyone have any input on whether one school over the other would increase my chances of getting a job or getting in to NP school? I'm so torn since JHUSON has such a good reputation but so expensive :/
  3. Just got a rejection email, I applied for FNP Good luck everybody!!!
  4. @fpjc My application says the same thing; all green checks except no date next to the "Application Complete" section... Hopefully that means all is good!
  5. My roommate and I took the GRE last summer. Vocabulary was both of our weakest sections, so my roommate bought those 500 GRE flashcards and memorized them all before her test. She said 3 out of those 500 were actually on her exam. I didn't study those--I focused on learning roots and tried to do as many practice problems as possible to get more used to guessing on the test rather than knowing the actual definitions of all the words, and I'd recommend doing that instead of wasting your time memorizing a bunch of definitions. I'd also recommend just doing as many practice problems as you can for every section! I bought a Kaplan study book and they had a bunch of extra problems online too once you bought the book, but I think any book would work as long as you do a bunch of practice! :)
  6. Me! How is everyone's application going? Also, does anyone know if we still need to submit 2 copies of each transcript from everywhere we completed our pre-reqs?
