  1. Thank you so much. This will serve as an inspiration;-)
  2. Thanks:-), I need to have at least 3years working experience in hospital settings, need to pass NCLEX, English proficiency exam, jurisprudence exam and must be enrolled in College of NURSING Ontario, right?
  3. Thanks a lot.
  4. I want to work someday in Ontario, is it hard to find nurse job there? Thanks.
  5. Thanks for your advice.
  6. I find your comments very close to my inquiry. Hi kababayan i need your advice. What if I already have my local licensed then I applied for a working visa as an LPN in NEW YORK to earn money while preparing for the NCLEX requirements sort of things like CVS from CGFNS for NY then waiting for the BON decisions. Do you think it's alright? I am willing to take the risk as long that I can start working. Or can you give me any advice what will be the best thing to do so that I can start working abroad even without experience. Thanks.

  8. Hi, I am interested about what happened to your friend who are not NLE passers and about to work in New York. I want to know your friends status, because I know someone who told me that right after passing my NLE I can go to New York but working as an LPN for my stepping stone I become RN. I am interested but still confused how to become RN in NEW YORK soon. Pls I need an update since this is 2 years ago.thanks
  9. Hi everyone, I am kinda confused right now. My situations are: I am 31 years old, just graduated from nursing school and preparing for my PNLE on november, I am a Filipino. I know someone who offered an LPN job right after passing the board exam, without experience at all. I was thinking that the opportunity is promising as a stepping stone for being RN soon working in places like Canada or London. I am really interested working as an RN in those states whatever it takes. Please help me to choose what path would be best. Thanks.
  10. Hi everyone;-) I am thinking what would be my future if I will pass my PNLE this coming November, I just graduated this year. I am confused right now even I haven't done yet for the exam but I am hoping for the best result. Someone told me about applying as an LPN in New York right after passing the board exam, things not yet fully explained to me and since this person will also applied for it he said that this might be a good opportunity going abroad. He told me that if I am decided we could talk about it and will explain to me everything. I heard if working visa will be approved then everything will fall in the line and it will be easy for me to take NCLEX exam there. I am confused whether to take NCLEX here and first earn clinical experiences or take the opportunity since I am already 31, no work and only receiving financially support from my brother who's also a nurse in Bermuda and also I am experiencing low self-esteem because of my situation. I was told not have work but hearing complain about money matters from my brother even when I am still studying. I am afraid ending underemployed here in the Phil or worst NO JOB again. I even think he could not help me either applying in his work place because he did even told me he could. His instructions are passing the PNLE, NCLEX and earn a clinical experience while waiting for the application online. I was thinking how long would it take me to go abroad If I do that and I have heard and read some problems of going abroad even passing NCLEX would take you several years. And also even if I will have a nurse job here in the Phil, I will suffer from financial constraint, (you know). I am hoping for some advice out there. Thanks in advance;-) God bless us all.
  11. I am learning now because of your topic and I remember my college life. I just graduated this year and the only thing that I will guarantee you right now is the word PATIENCE, HONESTY(as I already know you already posses that attitude), CRY if you must(to vent your feelings) then after you overcome this difficulty you can now breathe a li'l easier but still not finished yet these situation is like a roller coaster. All nursing students are experiencing difficulties in different situations, your skill might not be theirs and their skill might not be yours, you only need to just relax practicing never push yourself too hard because you are only increasing your anxiety level. Mild anxiety level will help you to focus ok. I know it's easy to say, but aren't you wondering maybe also us are still experiencing difficulties in advanced learning now in nursing;-) keep it up and HAVE FAITH TO GOD and believe you can make it!!!
  12. Thanks for this informative facts;-) I still have a long way to go. Need to pass my PNLE first.
  13. Hi, thanks for your interesting topic. I am now 31 just graduated bsn and now I am preparing for my PNLE for the coming November. I can see myself in you, I am also worried that I will not be able to apply abroad with my age but as what I have read to all comments here I can feel like boosting my energy and being inspired by them. Last night I was drunk until morning because of being depressed about the situation, I don't have current job at this moment my brother is financing my studies but when it comes to my personal belongings I feel pity of myself because I want to work or at least to have a part-time job but I am afraid I will fail my examination soon so I am really confused. Again this forum is a big help. Imagine nursing school is so stressful to just focusing on our age;-)
  14. Correction with levodopa instead of orange juice, it's whole grain and cereals that contains vit. B6 may reverse the effects of the drug and to compensate for my mistakes I will add up Tofranil TCA anti-depressant drugs that can cause palpitation in elderly ECG must be on bedside and any acidic medium decreases absorption of the drugs adverse effects are decrease libido, impotence(NC:inform both couples) and photo sensitivity(HT: use lotion with SPF of 25% or more)..pasensya na po, thanks;-)
