  1. It's no different like another average online program. There's tons of self study and u have to find your own cites. I passed boards last Friday
  2. Hello everyone, I recently graduated and have some books for sale that Utica uses. Please let me know if anyone is interested. thanks
  3. Hey, u have time to do them. They require them 6 months about before going to clinicals.
  4. To get accreditation they need to graduate one class. From what I am understanding, the first graduating class will be this May. Also, as you progress, the class number increasing like leadership is 588, quality is 603, nursing research is 609. It shows that each class will have more expectations and more learning. I am not thrilled about logging in 3 times a week either, but this is a part of their program and part of learning, hence, I try to coordinate my time appropriately. You can probably do some of the replies in advance and post them on the required date.
  5. Hi, I would like to connect. I started on January 18th. You can email me at [email protected]
  6. Hi Lindsey, I’m taking my first class and finished the first week. We had good amount of reading, 2 chapters, outside sources, video presentation, replies to students and the quiz. Very doable if you can manage your time. Some people take 2 courses in 8 weeks, some choose one at the time. school probably wants to see if you can handle based on your previous education. From what I see the first class is reading and application of néw information to your practice. Did u ever take any online undergrad courses? I think if you really want to become an NP you can totally do it. If you are employed full-time , some people suggest to do a class at the time. Both manageable but u might not have a lot of time outside of school and work. It’s time and financial sacrifice to make based on your situation
  7. It took me 24 hours to see the classes. Also u can contact your success coach
  8. You should ask your coordinator to register you for classes since it is a last minute thing. mad for financial aid, contact the office. You can find their number online in the directory
  9. Hi guys, thank you everyone for your responses. I just got an acceptance letter and will be starting on January 18th. If anyone wants to connect, please let me know. ?
  10. Thank you so much for your insight. I am impatiently waiting for their response. In the meanwhile, I am trying to prepare myself. In case I get admitted, I read that I need to get fingerprinted, right? Probably immunization record as well. How did you go about it? Also, how did you get your books? Do you have any left for sale?
  11. This question is for current students, Can anyone please advise how exams are administered? Do you need to buy an external camera? do they provide any resources towards the preparation for the boards? Thanks a lot.
  12. Hello everyone, I just submitted the application for online FNP at Utica College. I was trying to find more information and only see FNP certification program. For those who are already enrolled, would you advise if you are in a certificate program or not? and if you can, please give me an insight on what to expect upon the start. Thanks
  13. Thank you for your response. I will call them on Monday.
  14. I just submitted my application but did not find a space for the resume and transcripts. Did you have to submit them separately?
  15. I am in the process of applying. There are few questions that have boxes for reply. Is there any specific limit for the answers? Also, for those students who are already enrolled, how are you go about your clinical? Do you have to find a preceptor on your own or UC has affiliations?
  16. Hi guys, I know this thread is old but is there anyone who can give few hints towards the application. Thanks
  17. if you don't mind me asking...what is your GPA? Hey, I am also waitlisted. Were you able to get some insight about the waitlist? Thanks
  18. Hey guys, Just got an e-mail that I was waitlisted. Does anyone know how does this process work and what are the chances of getting in after being waitlisted?
  19. Thanks great!! Congratulations! Do you know how many seats are there in the program and how many people apply?
  20. Hey guys, I was wondering how long did it take before you received a decision regarding your application? I submitted mine few days ago for Fall 2020. The deadline is June 16th but I feel that I am late already
