New york presbyterian pediatric pharm exam
I passed! It definitely wasn't that bad, definitely just study the study guide and you'll do great. That's all I did and I got a 97.5%. I wasn't sure on some of my answers, but went with the one I thought was most correct, and apparently guessed right. Stick to your gut and you'll do great! Good luck!

New york presbyterian pediatric pharm exam
What have they said? I take my exam Tuesday and am very nervous. I am hoping it is easy to eliminate answers, leading to the correct response. I guess we will find out soon! But I would love hearing the feedback your friends said, as I haven't heard anything.

New york presbyterian pediatric pharm exam
Hi Anna, I used the Davis Drug Guide for Nurses. From what people have been saying I think it will be easier than we are expecting. It's hard not knowing what to expect!

New york presbyterian pediatric pharm exam
Hi rnsvcmc, I too was recently hired for the PICU. I think even though we will be in the PICU, we take the basic pediatric pharm exam, because that is the study guide they gave us. When do you take your test? I also used a drug book to fill out all of the info, and I would definitely recommend doing that or using the internet to find everything. Good luck!!!

NYP Pediatric Pharmacology exam
Hi all, I am going to take this test next week and I am slightly nervous I won't pass. For people that have taken it, should I study any other medications in addition to the study guide? And how in depth should I know about each med? And when you say "everything else know generally" what do you suggest I know in addition to the study guide? I would appreciate any insight! I'm just getting nervous and want to make sure I am prepared enough :) Thank you!!

New york presbyterian pediatric pharm exam
Hi @esc_newnurse, I know it has been awhile since you took your pharm exam, but I was hoping you might have some advice? I was given the study guide, however I used a drug book to fill it out, and when I compare that info to info found online, some of it differs. I'm not sure which source to trust, and I am wondering if the test makes it pretty easy to find the right answer? Thank you, and any insight into this exam would be greatly appreciated!

NYP Pharm Exam
Hi @auchiepie and @Jerseygirl12, would you mind sending me the study guides you have made? I just accepted a position at NYP! And I would love to add any additional information that I might be able to find! I don't think I have posted enough on allnurses to be able to message you, but my hope is that you guys might be able to message me with your email and then I can write you back my email address. Please let me know if you're willing to do this! Thanks :)

Questions about NYP Weill Cornell, especially PICU
Thank you everyone! I'm sorry to hear that @MissJessRN, I hope an opportunity turns up soon for you. Even as a new grad I have found it extremely difficult to find anything. And @Kjam19, good luck on your interview! I'm sure it will go great. I am starting December 8th.

Questions about NYP Weill Cornell, especially PICU
Hi Kjam19, I did hear back and found out that I was offered a job! It is for the PICU at Morgan Stanely though, where is your interview for? Speaking of..does anyone know the difference between the PICU at Morgan Stanley and the PICU at Weill-Cornell? And I am a new graduate. I wish I could give you some advice, but my interviews were all over the phone (aside from the NYP new grad events) so I feel like it was very different from what your interview will be. Good luck though!! I am sure you are going to do great. Just have confidence in your answers :)

Questions about NYP Weill Cornell, especially PICU
Hi @mrsinghnyc! I'm wondering when you are starting in the PICU? I recently had an interview with them too and am waiting to hear back. Also wondering if you are required to take a pharm exam at all, and if so is this online or in person? I only ask because I am located out of state and would have to fly in to take this exam. Thank you!

Thank you, jackie33, I would really appreciate that! Good luck on your interviews!

New York-Presbyterian New Grad Residency
This is what I heard as well, however I can't tell if an interview or a job would even come from this...I am from out of state and would have to fly in for this and am wondering if it is worth my money to go to this next event, or if I would then have to wait months to hear from them again for yet another interviewing event. Have you guys heard anything? Could this be our last round, and an interview could be conducted on the spot? I would appreciate any information, thanks!

New York-Presbyterian New Grad Residency
Hi! I also went through the same process as you and was considered a "top candidate." I would also love any information regarding when we can expect to hear about possible positions, if at all. Thanks!
