Hey everyone, is anyone applying from NYC? I have 8 month left from graduating and from an accelerated nursing school and was told by an online recruiter that it still not too late to apply. I've been trying to get in touch with a recruiter from NYC but haven't been successful. Any help would be appreciated!

Yea I actually do have that information. I wanted the email address because I have the email address of a medical officer recruiter from last year and I did send her an email but I have not heard anything back yet and just wanted to see if it was the same officer still in charge. Perhaps shes just busy spending time with her family haha. Thanks for the valuable information nevertheless!

Anyone applying for on campus housing?

My TEAS scores were actually pretty bad but I did get 100 in math. My pre-req GPA is 3.9. I had very strong recommendation from a chemistry professor and a current RN. I would like to think my essay was solid as well because my cumulative GPA is actually only 3.3.

I think its possible that some people just may not have joined facebook though. But its definitely possible there are some space left. Good luck to everyone =)

Best way to find out is to call the admissions office. The lady told me over the phone that I was accepted, and then I got my admission letter about 3 days after. She was very rude though...but dont let that stop you lol

thats what I have so far. I have not received any letter from downstate, but the link was available for the deposit so I just paid it because my mail does get stolen at times... I didn't actually get any acceptance response form but I am guessing that by paying the deposit I have accepted my spot. I think I did get accepted.....but I still wish I got a letter. They didn't respond to my email so I'm gonna try calling them on monday. Very thrilled!

Hey everyone, My email was hacked not to long ago...and I lost the email with the link to the check list on it. Would anyone be able to provide me with the link to the check list? Wow never mind so I just googled it...and I see that it is asking me to pay the deposit for the admission....does that mean I got accepted?!

I received an email. You can also check your solar account to see if a decision has been made.

So my status changed to FILE RETURN TO ADMISSIONS AFTER COMM. REV. ...Im hoping thats a good sign...

curious though.... do we have to send in our official transcript even if we were wait listed? or we only send it in if we do get accepted?

Waitlisted as well, I wish I just got a straight response honestly...but lets just hope we get accepted as soon as possible so we can all make a next move!
