Hello! So I finally called PCC to find out what happened with my application. I have not received any sort of email from PCC if I was accepted/alternate/rejected. They took down my name and number and called me shorty after I called them. The student worker told me that they had my application and that they were going to review it today and send me an official letter tomorrow. I was confused as to why they had to review my application if the selection was done. He seem like he didn't want to tell me directly that I was not accepted but he just kept saying that they have steps in accepting candidates or maybe they were just trying to cover their ass that they didn't even look at my application? I guess I will ask more questions as soon as I receive the official letter. I got accepted to Citrus College but PCC was my top choice since I work by PCC. Does anyone know any kind of information about Citrus College? How are the teachers, clinical locations and just the overall program. Thank you! I called PCC, ldemercurio3. The gentleman told me that they haven't done the draw yet because they had so many applications. I wish the best of luck to everyone! I hope we get in or at least make it to the alternate list!!

Hello! I called this morning and they said they will be sending out acceptance emails next week? I'm confused! GOTchel , did you apply for the LVN to RN?????

Any updates with PCC? I've been trying to call them the past two days and I keep getting their voicemail. When I called them last week they told me that we should be getting emails this week.

Hello! I also applied for PCC RN program! This is my second time applying, I applied for Fall 2014 and I was an alternate. I didn't get a call back but I was told that they had 100 alternates which I thought was weird. Best of luck everyone! :)

Congrats!!! Out of curiosity when did you receive your alternate email??? I'm still patiently waiting hoping to hear from them!

Yeah, I was surprised as well! I'm guessing they want to be safe that all spots are filled.

@Lily85 Hi, do you mind giving us alternates the important details of yesterdays orientation? Just in case if any of us get a call weeks before class starts we have an idea. I feel like they should've included the alternates in the orientation so not everything is rushed when prepping for nursing school. Then again they told me a couple weeks back that they had chosen 100 alternates this time around so that would be too many people in one room! Thank you!

@Lily85 Congrats!!! When did you receive your alternate email and time? I think I got my alternate email the same day you did but at the end of the day. I want to take a guess if I would be next on the list if someone else drops! ahhh! It's making me so nervous! Have you taken the TEAS yet?

@FutureRNSteph87 NOOOO...thats not a dumb decision. Only we know what works out best for us. Good luck I hope you get into one of them! I'm also an alternate at PCC! I would prefer to go to PCC because its closer to me. Lets just keep crossing our fingers we hear back from PCC soon!

@FutureRNSteph87 Heyy I don't remember if you got accepted to Citrus or an alternate. But I just received today in the mail that I'm an alternate for Citrus. The only thing I'm wondering is that I didn't get it in my self-addressed envelope. What do you think about that? Do you think I would be the other round of alternates. I just find it weird that I didn't get my letter in my self-addressed envelope. I have to take the TEAS this Friday. When do you take it??? Thank you!

Thats pretty cool people are still receiving alternate emails. I hope that means theres more spots that need to be filled up. Good luck to everyone. I hope us alternates hear back from them sometime next week. I'm just worried that I get a notification before I leave on vacation. But the young gentlemen -------------- said to call Tuesday to get a better idea as to where exactly they are at with alternates. Thanks for all the information everyone had provided!

Hello, I called the office to find out when alternates will begin to hear back and the gentlemen over the phone said alternates won't be hearing back until late June or even till late July. I think it sucks having to wait to late July to find out if you got the spot or not. My other concern was I am leaving for vacation next month for a week and he advised me that I take the ATI before I take off. I went online to register but there were not that many test appointments the next one is in two months. Do any of you guys know if they add more test dates? This is for Cal State LA location. If not I'm going to have no choice but pick a further location. :/ Also for those who did get accepted have you guys received an orientation date??? Thank you!

Does anyone know if they do another lottery for those that are alternates or do they go by the order they were picked from the first randomized selection. Thanks.
