Hi all,
Looking for some advice. My goals are to become and APRN with FNP specialty. I originally started a DNP program at my school (in first semester currently) but I think I want to drop down to the MSN - FNP to make it a year or so quicker ...
Thanks, these are good reasons to reference!
I know the DNP will be more time later, just don’t see the need for it at this point in my career, you know?
APRN - advance practice registered nurse (licensure)
MSN - master of science in nursing (degree program)
DNP - doctor of nursing practice (degree program)
FNP - family nurse practitioner (specialty chosen)
hope this helps
Update from my last post: the PVT worked for me AND I passed!!! (It also worked correctly for all of my friends whether they passed or failed, respectively)

I feel like I am in the same situation.....my test was MOSTLY SATA. I graduated top of my class and felt robbed of a chance during NCLEX-RN. I only had like 15 multiple choice with like 60 SATA and it stopped at 75 yesterday. I walked out crying and ...
Did you find out your result yet? I don't know if the trick is even accurate anymore. I took mine this morning....55 SATA and also a lot of ekgs....praying we passed but I'm not getting my hopes up with the trick just yet.
Hey guys, I got my ATT yesterday and I scheduled my NCLEX for next week July 6th. I graduated in beginning of May and have been using Kaplan & UWorld to prepare for the past month (and I found the 35 page study guide people have referenced on her...
ALSO I have a quick last minute question for everyone/anyone on here....do you guys have a list of meds that can be taken at night time / meds that can be taken with food / etc that they told us to make during kaplan? I had a hard time trying to figu...
It's so hard not to be anxious ahh..I do around 150 a day between Kaplan and UWorld so hopefully I'm fine. Keep me in your thoughts I need all the good vibes I can get lol...thanks so much keep you posted lol
not sure if I'll have time to finish the entire QBank I'm trying to focus more on UWorld in the home stretch but I have over half the QBank done tho! Good luck to you too only a few days left!!
My scores are similar to yours - haven't done the readiness test yet tho! Good luck on your test let me know how it goes! Keeping my fingers crossed for all of us :)
@ erickz Thanks! I make sure I understand rationales fully before I move on....takes up most of my time actually lol. How long ago did you take it? How many Qs did you do a day?
Congrats on passing!!! I'm taking mine in 3 weeks can you add me to your list of people you are sending your notes [email protected] thanks so much :) !
@pearl86 I haven't gotten mine yet aaah! But when I was going to go to UIC freshman year, I paid the tuition deposit online so it's probably still the same now, it's easy like it'll tell you to log into this thing and you just pay it right away
