  1. Has anyone's grade posted to their my ohio account yet? I've been watching mine so I can submit my tuition reimbursement and nothing yet...
  2. It wasn't a bad class when I took it. I had the book and did something through blackboard to link something to access info from blackboard. It was relatively easy in that aspect. It was my first blackboard class and had little issues with it. I took it last January, maybe things have changes since I took it...
  3. Yes, I was in by 2pm, haven't started anything, but I'm in :)
  4. I emailed the instructor since it was not showing. She promptly emailed me back saying there was a glitch (seems as though OU has been having a lot of glitches lately) and that it should be available by 5pm. If not, to let her know. So, I will check after I get home, and if not available will e-mail her back and let her know.
  5. Nope, nothing yet. I did email my advisor around 9:15 this morning, and no reply yet. Would be nice to know what to start reading and get ready for assignments
  6. 8:30 and still nothing on blackboard! Also, when I look at my class schedule, for instructor, it simply says "staff." Does that mean they haven't assigned this class to anyone yet? This is like a déjà vu of evidence based nursing, not having access, only this time I wasn't dropped from the class. Just not available, no instructor? I was hoping to start things soon, but looks like I'll be waiting still.
  7. Still not showing up in blackboard for me. I did just check my Ohio and I am enrolled...
  8. I got a confirmation email that my application was received. I checked my dars the other day and my soc101 that I took this summer and transferred in finally went through. Also, $50 balance on my account for graduation.
  9. Ps...posting from my iphone, sorry for any spelling errors
  10. I'm in the class and had posted in that threa as well. I agree that it did go a bit overboard with certain aspects I'd the assignment. I wish there was a way to prove that one did what was required non their own and not by visiting the threa in question. I did he calculations at work...probably not the best place since I should have been working, but I did. I did get a reference from the thread, but it was my third reference, so even without it I would have had the required 2. It appeared that's my posters toward the end were new members who had been directed to the thread by searching for information related to staffing. Likely, they did not read the rules and were just excited to find some support on a somewhat difficult assignment (I say somewhat difficult only because after the final clarification, it was a lot easier).
  11. Same to you!
  12. Me me me me! And, it is my LASTclass and I am DONE!
  13. My final db grade is not in yet. I'm not worried as its not the end of the semester, so,technically, there is still plenty of time for them to submit grades...
  14. So glad to know the study guide will help! I just finished my initial db post.
  15. I'm still waiting on week 4 db posting grades. Haven't even started week 5 work, although I've identifie what's not evidence based and how to make it so...at least I think.
  16. I don't recall seeing anything about correcting anything. All I did was identify the threat and briefly explain why it was a threat. Didn't lose any points.
  17. I don't have a clue what to write about for this last db post. I really think everything we do is evidence based...I it's not, then it's part of a study! I can think of things the physicians do that are not evidence based...which does effect patient care...an nursing. I may end up going that route.
  18. I must have totally missed the cut and paste fiasco. What was that??
  19. Glad to hear that the study guide is helpful this week (actually, I've found them helpful each week, just glad it's a continuing trend)! I still have to do my critique db post, and 2 replies and my 2 replies to the other db, and my internal validity assignment. But, I'm at work and my new iPhone 5 is at home waiting for me. I know what my priorities are tonight :)
  20. From my TAInternal Validity Assignment- For the information given, identify the threat to internal validity from the list: Maturation, History, Mortality, Selection Bias, & Instrumentation. Give a short answer explaining why this is the correct answer.
  21. Sounds like many of us will be in leadership together! I'm taking excellence after that then I am done!
  22. Is the dependent/independent variable assignment timed? How many are there? Debating if I want to do tonight or tomorrow after the quiz...Thanks
  23. I've been able to take the previous tests without actually having to download that respondus browser. Has anyone found that we have to do it for the dependent/independent variable assignment and quiz 3? Thanks
  24. How are they to know that you don't subscribe to whatever journal you got the article from? I get the journal of clinical oncology...or something like that. Whether I get the article from an online database or from the print journal in front of me, the reference is the same. Maybe I've been lucky with decent TA's that don't expect that...
  25. If I get an article from OU library, I do not put retrieved from. I put it in my references as an article from a journal...after reading the article, I click on the article name from alice or whichever data base I'm using and it gives you all the info you need to reference it, journal name, authors, volume, issue etc. I've not been marked off for doing it that way.
