  1. I am just looking into the program now. I am eager to hear as much as I can about this school. Thanks!
  2. I am considering signing up for the american sentinel fnp program. How are your classes going do far?
  3. Hello! I am a new CNA instructor as well. I have been at it for 8 months and it is still stressful. I can't imagine doing it from a small room. Don't you have beds and manikins? My state is having a conference next month to help instructors. I cannot wait! If I can help at all let me know! Sharon
  4. Kahoots and Quizzlet are fun games. I use them for my high school CNA students https://create.kahoot.it/#quiz/09c304fb-f303-40a4-8daf-6b6353d41aab This one students can play against each other using electronic devices. The results are available in an Excel spreadsheet so that you can get a glimpse on what needs to be studied more. My kids love this one https://quizlet.com/61519578/skills-lp-2-blood-pressure-flash-cards/ This one I like to put on the smart board. The scatter function is a matching game that my students love. Hope this helps!
  5. thanks for the responses. Sorry I didn't respond earlier, I didn't see them until now! I will check into HOSA, but we do not use it. We are involved with Skills USA. Does anyone have any other great resources to share? I love kahootz, and quizzlet. I am also a huge fan of MAX teaching strategies. I just started with schoology, and would love to share resources there if anyone else is on. Thanks, Sharon
  6. Hello, I just got my Masters of Education in December, and was hired as a teacher for a local high school. I teach 10th graders 6 hours one day, and 12th grade CNA students 6 hours the next. I would love to connect with other CNA instructors to get ideas. I find one of the biggest challenges is finding lesson plan ideas and worksheets specific to high school nursing students. There are two things that would really help me with this new job. 1) I would love to find a message board specific to teaching CNA, which is so highly regulated by the state. 2) I would love to know what websites might have some great information that would be specific to CNA, and pre nursing studies. thank you so much!
  7. Just purchased this on your advice. Thank you!!!
