They told me that they no longer use sallie mae......but perhaps you will get different info. Keep me posted if they give you any ideas of other lenders. I was told that they are in the process of finding another lender to use and that i would get a call when they have it secured. I assume this is for in-house financing but im not certain.

Hello! I will be joining you all in the April 2015 BSN class! I am having a hard time finding financing since the federal loans I was awarded only cover about half of the program. Does anyone have any suggestions for private loans? Ive worked so hard to get to this point and I hope money wont be the thing that keeps me from becoming a nurse

I received the same email about an interview!!! Yay!!

Ive done all my pre reqs online, including science classes. I chose the online route so that i could continue to work full time. Time management has been hard and sometimes i wonder if i might have had an easier time taking the classes in person. If you can take A&P in person i would recommend it!! there is alot of memorization and my online class has gone so fast that I dont feel that i have retained as much as i could have in a live class. Doing the labs at home has been cool since you can do then on your own time :)

I got an email stating that my application had been received. It did reiterate that notifications for those selected for interviews would be 6 weeks after the close date.....sooo 3 more weeks to go! The email went to my junk folder so those of you still waiting to find out if your app was received check your junk mail!!

Im so glad i found this post!! I am 35 and hoping to start an accelerated BSN program in the fall. Its nice to know that there are so many people over 30 that are in the same boat! Im currently finishing up my pre req courses AND working full time in a hospital....it has definitely been rough. My biggest fear right now is getting loans for school!!!

I also just applied for the October 2014 start. And now the waiting begins........
