  1. Thank you for the confidence, honestly!
  2. No I haven’t received anything. I’m guessing that probably means I didn’t get in. Well we’ll see
  3. I checked my status today and it states "screening complete", I hope that means something. I emailed admissions last week and they informed me that they cannot give me any information because my application is being reviewed by the program.
  4. It will be part time but I am waiting to hear back from 1 other school
  5. Yes I’m heard this as well. I have a coworker in the program and she’s OK with it. Do you know if this is recent or has it been the same with past students? Maybe it could be because of covid and going virtual
  6. Same! My status changed to that two days ago. They took a long time processing my documents and I applied since January. I got into LIU and paid the deposit to hold my seat but I am hoping for downstate
  7. so I didn't get accepted to Pace. called them and they told me that it was based on my prerequisites from undergrad. They don't review the applications, some third party does it. Just wish they took into consideration my progress through higher learning but it is what it is. Good luck to you all. I've made the decision to go to LIU
  8. Same. Last year my friend got her acceptance around the end of February. IDK what they’re doing this year
  9. I applied but I haven’t heard back yet. Waiting for pace and downstate. Got accepted into LIU.
  10. yes it still states that additional information is needed. I had emailed them after I uploaded it, they told me that documents are review and processed in the order received
  11. I finished my application is December and my reference sent their recommendation in January. I heard from them last week requesting a transcript for classes that I took on e-permit but already present on my undergraduate transcript. As of yet, nothing.
  12. I have a friend who goes there for their FNP program and she likes it.
  13. Just waiting and seeing what happens next for me. I don’t know about the program and I don’t know anyone who has been in the program. I have only spoken to my friend to check up on her. Covid is hitting all of us hard. CONGRATS again! I’m sure it’s a great program
  14. Hey Pochacco, CONGRATS! it sounds like you got in. Have you tried logging in or are you waiting for the official email? I checked and mine has not changed, I still see my mailing address. Hoping that I get in!
  15. I called last week asking for a status on my application. I was told that they are still reviewing applications and I should get an email with the decision in a couple weeks. So let’s see
  16. Same! No she didn’t have an interview
  17. Hello. I also applied to Pace Fnp program for the fall 2020. My application status has not changed from submitted. 2 weeks ago it indicated that I was missing two transcripts but I resolved that and still nothing. I did see on their website that registration for graduate class is April 13... I know they’ve accepted people into their program. I have a friend who applied early and she got her acceptance letter about 1 month ago
  18. Welcome Mattheww and I totally agree. I know that I want to finish this nursing thing with a masters, so this is a great start to get a feel for the profession. tZunami2 Hey I just added you on facebook so that you can start the group!!
  19. shaynalmt Yes that is exactly it. If you have all the prerequisites done and have a bachelors than you can apply to an accelerated BSN program (1-2 years) but those are very competitive. I personally think 3 years is a decent amount of time to obtain ones bsn. it will take some time but it will be well worth it. BklynEMT Mattheww also we wont be getting anything in the mail from pbisn, I emailed them and they told me that everything, i.e. health assessment, background check, uniform fitting will all be through email. so check your inbox not your mailbox lol :)
  20. mye815 No they are keeping it separate and you have certain criterias that you need to meet in order to get in but idk. The dean told me about the new bsn program and she was excited as well and told us to email her if we had any inputs about the program.
  21. No not at all. I just deduced that since this RN-BSN program is new they would want to fill it. At my interview they told me that after the first year that the bsn program can get accredited, and the students that get accepted into the RN program automatically get accepted into the BSN. So I believe that they extended the RN one to fill up the spots and get the best candidates. Im not sure really but i believe that it has something to do with the BSN program
  22. yes that is a good idea, about the facebook page. I was thinking of getting the cardiology 3 by littmann. i heard great reviews about and figured that it would be a great investment. I am a bit nervous about getting it now because i do not want to lose it or have it stolen, that would simply be a lot of money lost. I guess i will continue to shop around
  23. Has anyone made a facebook page yet? Also has anyone looked at stethoscopes yet? I hope they send us everything soon. Because my summer is pretty booked and would hate to cancel my fun to make sure my future is set Lol! Plus I can't wait to start and meet you all
  24. Shaynalmt I am not sure as to the specific reasons why but I believe that it has something to do with them starting a BSN program. So maybe they are extending the deadline so that they can fill up those spots
