  1. That's awesome!! That is really great that your going to for your RN :) stories like yours inspire me and remind me that it's never too late no matter where your at in life or what happens in life that puts things "on hold"
  2. Right and my question was moved to the ma forum.
  3. How long have you been a medical assistant?? Thanks for your feedback and best wishes !!
  4. Hmm. That kind of stinks. I love patient interaction so it seems like outpatient is better
  5. Yeah I could get EKG certified. I am also a phlebotomist so that could be a way to get into hospital setting to I suppose.
  6. I am a medical assistant already I also am certified in phlebotomy and have been working as an MA in a family practice for almost 3 years. Unfortunately the office will be closing so I am job hunting. . Sad news and good news. I will miss those I have worked with a lot but I get to gain some new experience. I am considering getting my RN. But I am not sure yet. I am 21 years old so I know I have a lot more years of experience to get. I also wold be interested in surgical tech
  7. Oh'ello: thank you for your response. I was not trying to get any one fired up. I know MA aren't nurses. Thank you for your helpful feedback. :)
  8. For those who are a medical assistant or patient care assistant and work in a hospital setting. What is your typical patient volume?? Do you like the hospital setting?? What do you like about it? What do you dislike about it?
  9. A lady I work with was selling products at work through a catalog and was going on and on about how she needs to reach a certain amount of sales and was pressuring people. Let's just say I was the first person who purchased from her even though didn't have the money for it my loss is her gain. She asks drug reps, certain patients, and other employees to buy things.
  10. Thanks for your support and encouragement! Im going to go for it
  11. Thanks!! Have a great day
