  1. I interviewed for the surgical icu. And no they didn't pay. If they give you a position they will pay for moving expenses.
  2. Well I applied, interviewed and didn't get the position. So I wonder if I can reapply or not for a different unit.
  3. So if we applied back in March for the first round, our application is still good and we won't need to apply again?
  4. Ok thanks unc2002! My application still says under recruitment review. I already had and interview with Duke and didn't get the position so I'm anxiously waiting about UNC.
  5. So I read on UNC's website on how they are kinda stalled with interviews due to the EPIC implementation( as of April 1). Has anyone heard from UNC recently since it's been over 3 weeks since that message was posted?
  6. Wow. 770 is a ton. Makes me feel lucky to even have an interview at Duke. Haven't heard anything from UNC though. Hopefully Duke will just work out so I don't have to worry!
  7. No I haven't heard anything back from Duke yet.
  8. Well good luck! :) mine was behavioral based. The manager was asking questions about how I reacted in a situation (ex. what frustrates me, when have I felt overwhelm, etc). I just explained what had happened and tried to tie the core values in. Ex. Diversity with non English speaking patients and respecting their background.
  9. Mine went great, the manager explained the moral of the unit and other specifics. She only asked a handful of questions. The shadow went well, but the nurse and I traveled with the patient so I was not on the unit the whole time. The nurse did take the time to explain everything to me and was really passionate about his job. Will find out within two weeks! Good Luck to everyone! :)
  10. I interviewed yesterday. It went really well, very fun to shadow!
  11. I am too interviewing on the Surgery ICU. Traveling from Indiana. :)
