So HKP, who’s the counselor that I need to meet and make an appointment with ? HK who’s the counselor that u have to make and appointment and to see so that he can sign off my Teanscripts? Do I bring all my transcripts to that person ?

Hi Darko!! I’m a prospective lvn to rn applicant also. Can I ask you a question. So what is the process of applying for the lvn to rn program bridge at RCC? Do I see a counselor? And of course bring my official transcripts at the office at the school. And then when is the application period for the bridge program? And how do they accept people? Is it by space availability or what? Can anyone answer this? And at Riverside city college are the science okay for lvn to rn? It doesn’t have to be within 5 years?

Hi studleygrl99, hey it's krisy1217 an applicant also for cypress RN program. I applied Sept 2011 and I checked with the counselor to see when should i get in and she said 2-3 semesters. So for applicants that applied year 2011 and that is waiting in ( in the chronological order) they will get in next year spring or fall 2015. I hope i get in co'z i been waiting for 3 years now. So, Studleygrl99, how do u know you are in the chronological list? did they tell you? and you only need to apply once and you just need to renew your application every september and turn it in i believe the 2nd week of september they will send you an email. So watch out for it around end of Aug. To Gizelle22, wow! so congrats! did you pass you are an RN now? where are you planning to work? what NCLEX review did you use for the NCLEX? when did you graduate again? What do you suggest to use to study for the TEAS test? I will be taking the TEAS test once I get in the RN program because Cypress college stated once you get in. they will schedule a TEAS test for all that got in the program. Any other advice? THanks all! So Studelygrl99, i think the TEAS test is only good for a year.

Hey studleygirl. When did u turn in your application initially?? I turn mines in Sept 2011.and I been renewing it every year...so I been waiting for in going almost 3 yrs. I called my counselor she said. I should be in next year sometime because they r working on the 2011 applications now.

I received my denial. Too. So I am not accepted for fall 2014 either. But u know we should be studying for the TEAS test.

I believe they send out letters in May. First week or 2nd week of may. They send out email letters. Did u renew your application every year??. When did you apply for cypress?? I applied sept. 2011..but renewing it every year. I hope we get in.soon.

So....what bout if a person has a 2.57 Gpa overall because it's 2.5 Gpa requirement for all college courses. And what if I have a 3.0 on all science classes. All Bs for anat, physio, and micro. And finish all the requirement classes. Do I have a chance to get in citrus u think?? And have 4 yes Lvn experience?? How do they pick students. I think they should be fair to everyone. I Mean Soo If All 24 Students Had 4.0 Or 3.5 They Just Pick Those? What bout those students that have 2.5 or 3.0 and have experience and have completed all their requirements they get disqualified? ? Why did citrus college? Did they give u a reason why they rejected u?

Hi future#nurse. So. You applied to citrus lvn to rn? Did u turn in your application just last month??. The application deadline was March 31. For people to start summer 2014. Is this your first time applying to citrus for lvn to rn?? Sooo. Do u know how they pick their students? ? Don't they pick 10 Lvns only?? For lvn to RN?? Okay...Sooo you did take the Teas?? When?? What did u score on it?? I think we have to score like 62% right?? Well I hope you get in this year now me too so that we will be classmates. You live near citrus college?? Yep Gizelle22 I applied every september. Oh Rio hondo isn't a lotto system and i think they are point system. and so as Golden West. Do you live around orange county?? soo you are an RN now? Gizelle22? where do you work now?? Just in case I get in the RN program at Cypress, what is your advice for me?? Is it hard?? how's the lecture theory test , what about clinicals?? are there dosage calculations before each course. What is the passing for dosage calculation? and how many questions?

Nicco so, did you find a school to transfer to for LVN to RN program? did you apply at PCC yet? what did they say?
