I have spoken with some people on FB that are currently in the program or just graduated and they have all said good things. They said it is a lot of work. You start working on your project day one.

Hello there I just got accepted as well. I will be in the PPM-DNP also adding the psych specialty. Starting in January as well. Very excited. I live in WV where are you from?

@Toni87 this is a new program at Walden Sept4 is the first start date.

I guess it is just different for each state. i checked WV and there were no issues from the WV board of higher learning or the WV board of nursing.

Walden has started new a new FNP and AGNP enrolling now for start date in Sept, Oct, and Dec. hope this is helpful to people that are interested.

I am a student from the fall 2010 class ENP dual AACNP/FNP program. The program is hard but doable. USA does not require the GRE. I work full time weekends and carried a full load last semester. I complained and cried a little but hey I did that in BSN school as well. The orientation you will like. It is a great networking experience but has more of a leadership feel to it not your traditional Under Grad orientation. You will do a lot of self learning but the instructors I found to be very reasonable and will to work with you if you open your mouth and ask. If you have any other questions I can aswer please let me know.

I am in the DNP program first semester. It is not terrible, alot of work yes but doable. You can PM me if you like. If you have your mind set to do the DNP dont let others experiences talk you into it or out of it, remember why you applied and make your own decisions.
