Has anyone gone to Carrington College
Yea I'm sure you'll do good. It's what you make of it. In the LVN program we only got to go to long-term care facilities but the experience was good. I've heard in the RN program they do go to local hospitals.

Has anyone gone to Carrington College
P.S. I can't speak for the LVN to RN program but the LVN program was not easy there. It wasn't very difficult but I put a lot of hours into studying and trying to learn concepts on my own. Some instructors didn't emphasize what was going to be on the exams or read straight from the textbooks, so I found it hard to study for the exams. You have to pass all your courses with at least a 75% or they hold you back.

Has anyone gone to Carrington College
I went to Carrington College Sacramento for the LVN program and graduated last July. The courses and instructors were awesome. There were a few instructors I was like eh about but that's like any other college. I think I learned the most during my clinical experience and the clinical instructors are awesome. The one thing I'd have to complain about is the administration and how disorganized they were in the nursing department. A lot of instructors quit in the middle of the term but they always figured things out. Just teaches you how to be a flexible nurse, I guess lol. I'd say going there was worth it. I'm also thinking about going there to do the bridge program. I know that the actual LVN to RN (not the pre-reqs) is only 8 months.

CCSF ADN Program Fall 2014
Hmm, that's a little weird. I was reading last year's lottery's posts and people were offered to take the TEAS when they were accepted. And people knew what number they were. They must've done things differently this year. I would want to know what my chances were if I was on standby lol.

CCSF ADN Program Fall 2014

CCSF ADN Program Fall 2014
Wow, congrats! Yea, the accreditation thing is scary. It's been going on for a couple of years now, though. I'm assuming or hoping that we won't be affected I read somewhere from a different post about this issue that they'll take care of the nursing students if they don't get their accreditation worked out. Idk though, they might just be saying that lol.

CCSF ADN Program Fall 2014
Haha, yea I hope so. It's just fall and spring. From what I've read from other people's post is that they have some kind of summer bridge program to refresh your math and some other courses.

CCSF ADN Program Fall 2014
You're welcome! I think you'll do fine on the TEAS if you got A's and B's in your pre-reqs and study using ATI's study guide. I took the TEAS last summer and studied for 2 weeks, and I did well. I thought it would be much harder, but it was okay. Definitely something that's not common sense or something you can cram for, though. Also, they're taking the first 50. You're #11 so you're definitely good to go haha. I'm jealous, I'm #76

I was picked in the lottery!!!
Good luck :)

CCSF ADN Program Fall 2014
Just found out I'm #76 on the list for CCSF's RN program for Fall 2014. Anyone else in this lottery? Thoughts? Comments? Not so sure what I should be thinking/feeling at this moment, lol.
