  1. I agree with TallGirlAni. And if you did say something, and he should fail, the family would always believe he would have made it if you hadn/t interfered. In other words, his failing would be all your fault! (in their eyes) Nobody wants that...

  4. Think about how many more years you expect to work. That will help you decide if the time spent getting your RN is worth the investment. I say Go For It! Best of luck to you!
  5. Sounds to me like you are costing them too much to keep. A new grad will come in & do the same job for much less. Are there other nurses who have longevity at your facility? Also, after 24 years, I'm guessing you must know just about everyone there. Are there any management types you can talk to. I've seen positions "eliminated", then 6 months later, that same position resurfaces. That was in a rehab facility-corporate.
