  1. Wow! Thank you so much for all of your feedback! I really appreciate it.
  2. I've noticed several people post asking for good inserts. As an avid runner with high arches, I always need supportive shoes & inserts. I will only buy New Balance shoes with the extra support then use inserts from yoursole.com The specific pair I've used for the last two years are the Softec Ultra. Long days on my feet in clinical & on the hospital (I work as a PCT on a busy floor) floor would kill my feel if I didn't use both of these. I haven't had any issues to date, including no PAIN! The $45 for inserts might seem high but like I said, they've last me 2 years and are still going strong. Plus if you sign up for their newsletter, they'll give you $10 off your first order. Trust me, you'll feet will thank me years down the road when you don't have issues with feet, shins, or knees, like some of your co-workers.
  3. I'm an avid runner with high arches & have been wearing New Balance trainers for the past two years with no problem. They're not the best looking shoe but that doesn't matter to me if I'm saving my arches from dropping. As for shoe inserts, I've used different types from yoursole.com for training, work and school and they are the most amazing inserts. I would def recommend them!
  4. 31, married with no kids. Right there with you. As scary as it seems, I can't help but to be incredibly excited.
  5. I will be starting (hopefully) an ABSN program in the fall. I say hopefully bc I have my interview soon & hope to be accepted. Anyone have advice for a new nursing student? Or suggestions on great websites or videos for visual/kinestetic learners? Thanks in advance!
  6. Congratulations, margotrita on your acceptance!
  7. Leostar, I'm in the same boat. Waiting to find out if I will get an interview and the wait is driving me crazy, too. I actually contacted the nsg program and asked when they would be notifying applicants. Yeah, I'm THAT type of person.
