  2. I sent you a FB message with the link. It will be in your other folder since we are not friends.
  3. I created FB group for the fall 2015 cohort. You can search "Concordia ABSN Fall 2015" to join or post here with your FB name or email and I can send you the invite.
  4. So great to see so many accepted students here. I look forward to meeting everyone at orientation. I have not yet paid my deposit and so I have received nothing from Concordia beyond my acceptance letter. The woman I interviewed with did email me to tell me that orientation is schedule for the 20th with classes beginning on the 24th, but that these dates are subject to change. I am going to create a FaceBook page for accepted students so that we can all connect in an easier fashion - sometimes this website can be fussy. Thank you KatyCar for your insight, it is appreciated. I received a spot in the program at Columbia this week but am sticking with Concordia based on the positive reviews and my gut instinct.
  5. Thank you for the calendar! Have you made a decision yet? I have looked at MANY schools and this forum has been helpful in shedding light on certain programs. I interviewed with Pace a few months back and the facilities were updated and looked great and I was eager to go there. Recently, I have read several negative reviews about their program on this forum. Granted, I am not a student there and every program is going to have some students who have complaints, I just feel that it will not be the best fit for me. It seems that a lot of students leave the program, by choice or otherwise, which is why the NCLEX pass rate is 100% there. The reviews I have read about Concordia don't leave a bad taste in my mouth, and that is a good feeling after being at this for 3 years now.
  6. I received my letter of acceptance on Thursday. I have decided to attend Concordia as I am still wait listed at Pace and have recently heard some discouraging things about their program. Does anyone know the exact start date of Concordia Fall 2015 program? I need to give my letter of resignation at work and can't figure that out until I know when school starts.
  7. Hi all. Congrats to those who were accepted. I also applied to Concordia and was invited for an interview last Monday, April 20. The interview went well, very laid back and casual. I have not yet taken my TEAS exam and am looking to schedule it for either this week or next so that they can give me a final decision. How did you all score on your TEAS exam?
  8. Waitlisted for the 1 year program. Disappointing. Best of luck to everyone.
  9. Sorry to hear that @UnicoR.N. If this is what you really want, don't ever give up!
  10. @rantflea The suspense!!!! Did they say when?
  11. Has anyone that interviewed on April 13 heard anything yet aside from the email that admission decisions were delayed?
  12. Can anyone who interviewed already shed some light on the types of interview questions they ask and what type of math questions are asked? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
  13. Hi all. Has anyone been accepted to and started the ABSN program at CMSV? I am applying for Fall 2014.
  14. lizjcruz - This means that as student decline an acceptance, they will pull from an ordered wait list. !6 isn't too bad. You're toward the top of the list. It is nice that they give you your rank. I am waitlisted at Columbia but they don't tell you your rank Stay hopeful!
  15. Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted! Unfortunately, I received a phone call from them last week (after much back and forth!) informing me that they will not accept my psychology class because it is a 200 level class and they are looking for a 100 level class. Very, very frustrating. I understand that rules are rules, however they didn't let me know until over a month after submitting my application and me constantly calling to find out the status.
  16. What is this doodle you speak of??
  17. They seem to be disorganized in the application process. I submitted a COMPLETE application before the April 1 priority deadline and after joining this thread and reading about everyone's interviews I decided to call and check the status of my application. I was informed that I was missing a pre-req, which was incorrect. The woman I spoke with then, on March 27th - a month after submitting my application, marked it complete. So it had just been passed over for an entire month without being sent to the review committee. I am pretty irritated but was told on another phone call the following day that they are in fact still reviewing applications and I will still be considered for the Fall 2014 cohort. Hope this is true and that I at least get an interview. How were you all notified about interviews? Email?
  18. Hi all. Just joining in on this thread. From what I have read here and in other threads, Pace's application/interview/acceptance process is very disorganized. I spoke to someone from admissions a few times to make sure all of my documents were received and to ask some general questions. She was very helpful and said not to worry as long as everything was in by 3/1 you didn't miss out and that they don't even start reviewing until then. She also said that not everyone has to have an interview, which I hope is true as I have not been offered one yet. She also told me that decisions don't go out until April. I plan on calling today to follow up and see where they are at in the process. I only have one other application in and that is with Columbia. Their decisions went out in February and I was wait-listed and won't find out if I was pulled from the wait-list until April the earliest. I'd prefer Pace for cost savings.
  19. Waitlisted....
  20. I thought last year was snail mail for some reason, Not really sure why I think that. But this is the first time with the fully electronic application so maybe it will be an e-decision. Today would be nice!!!
  21. I had emailed Naveed yesterday to ask approx when if February decisions would go out (unaware that the buzz was that it would be today) and I have yet to get a repsonse. Does anyone know how we will find out? Via email or snail mail?
  22. What gave everyone the idea that it would be today...or even this week?
  23. Sray09 - Thanks for that info. I did submit my application a few weeks ago and then I had to take it upon myself to see what else they needed from me (like LOR and transcripts, as the application mentioned none of this!!). They seem really disorganized and I am getting mixed responses. I was told I won't find out anyhting about a decision until April...does this seem right? I had talked to an advisor there last year and she explained this all to me very differently. I am concerned that my application is incomplete and may have fallen between the cracks there. The only way I can check the status of anyhting is by emailing and hoping someone responds. I am now nervous to attend there, should I get accepted.
  24. Hi all. I just heard about this site 2 days ago from a friend who is also pursing a nursing degree. Wish I had found out about it last year as it would have made a difference in where I submitted applications. Anyway, I decided to find a thread for 2014 ETP applicants as I am one. From the looks of the last few posts it seems like you all are pretty certain that today is the day they send out decisions? I wasn't aware. I actually just emailed Naveed earlier today to ask approximately when do decisons get sent out. Good luck to you all! Is anyone applying to Pace University ABSN program?
