  1. I just wanted to let everyone know, that I WAS on another nursing website and left that website after several RN's and nursing students preparing for the NCLEX got caught exchanging actual NCLEX questions. I know that there were punishments handed down to those that were involved. Just a little FYI. People do watch what you write and some do report back to the nursing boads and also Pearson (the test center that provides the NCLEX). Just watch your actions. Personally, I thought going to nursing school and studying for the NCLEX was enough stress for the rest of my life. This was not trying to make anyone mad. I just wanted to let you know what I saw on other websites.
  2. I had the same IV question! Wierd!
  3. I took mine on the 27th also. I was supposed to take it at 9am but got there so early I started at 8:15. I am so scared because it stopped at 75 and I studied my butt of for this. But, I wanted to tell you I had one about internal radiation but my answers were different then yours. It was about spending just 30 minutes in the room for nursing care. And I think for yours I would have put private room.....if I understood the question correctly. Well good luck to you!! I will be sitting here for the next 2 hours and waiting for my results.
  4. I took the HESI test the last semester of nursing school and honestly I did not feel like the HESI test was anything like the NCLEX. HESI was all knowledge base questions and the NCLEX was more of critical thinking.
  5. I took mine today. It shut off at 75 and the tears started as soon as I got in the car. I am sooooo scared!!! I got 4 or 5 check all that apply, one math question. I didnt delegate to a PCA or nursing assisstant at all and THAT is why I am soooo scared. There were a couple when I was a charge nurse and who I should give someone you got pulled to another unit. I had labs and signs and symptoms and what should I do first. I am freaking!!!!! I don't think I KNOW I got more then 10 questions right....and thats pushing it. I am scared and feel like I dont even want to know my results.
  6. I am taking the test also tomorrow!!! Good luck girls!!! Just think on Wednesday we will know :uhoh21:
  7. Well, I feel somewhat better. I just finished another Kaplan test and got a 72%......and half the questions I was just guessing. I am to the point that if I fail.....then I fail.....not the end of the world.....I won't die.....and I won't be the only person that has failed. HOWEVER, it would be GREAT if I passed! :)
  8. I am so scared and nervous! I get sick just thinking about it! I have been studying doing saunders, Lippincott, Kaplan and some others. I am nervous because on the Kaplan I have been getting 64%, 53%, 61%, 60% and my test is on the 27th which is in 2 days!!!! What should I do???? I have been an LPN for 2 years and took the NCLEX-PN, but I know that the PN is somewhat different and more difficult then the RN. Any advice???? I am freakin!!!!
  9. I am a GN getting ready to take boards on June 27th. I need some help with understanding ventilators (high pressure alarm, low pressure alarm, PEEP) and want to do in those situations. I also want to know what a good quiz score is on all the study material I have been using. I have been studying and taking quizs from Lippincotts, Kaplan, Saunders and some others. But sometimes I get in the 60's and 70's. What is an acceptable score on those? Thank you
