  1. Dear SmilingBig: I appreciated the encouragement everyone offered to Ms. RN. It's so compassionate of everyone to do so. I, too, am intent on applying to the TTUHSC-GGHSON at the end of this year. I'm trying to get my pre-requisites completed by October when the deadline for all applications are due. I'm forced to take courses online as I travel between Mexico and the US for business reasons. I'd love to ask you questions, if you don't mind? Did you do any of your pre-requisites online, on campus, or hybrid of both? Did TTUHSC baulk at accepting any of those courses? Did you find they prepared you sufficiently for the 2nd Degree BSN program? What do you find is your biggest challenge in the 2nd Degree coursework? Thank you for allowing me to ask questions! I wish you every success!
  2. Hello, Han14ash: I hope to apply to the 2nd Degree BSN program at TT-El Paso in 2015. I'm trying to locate online courses for all my pre-requisites now. I find the cost of doing them online is quite expensive and no financial aid is available. I've been in the healthcare field all my professional career but on the administrative side in high management positions. I've always been interested in nursing and am pursuing now without any reservations. I do not have a CNA certificate as yet. I need to complete the CNA course, the CPR course, and all my pre-requisites by the October deadline for application to TT. A challenge I know but, I'm going to give it my best.
