hello everyone, I think its every nurse dream to work in a hospital. Unfortunately, as a foreign grad and no past nursing professional experie nce my chance of landing a RN hospital job is zero. My competitions are US citizen new RN grads and RNs with experience. so I plan to work as a CNA without initially disclosing my RN license and after 2 months if I would then renew my license and tell my employer that i just past nclex then I would apply for a RN position in the same hospital. My question is, can my undisclose RN license be expose during background screening? Pleae share your thoughts if my infiltration plan is lame and stupid. I appreciate constructive criticism.

Hello steppybay, I'm from IL, I failed 3 times and passed in 4th retake. The ATT issued from Pearson Vue is valid only for 90 days (3 months) but the ILLINOIS RN Application is valid for 3 years. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hello Rose, Congrats on your humble career path. BTW, why does LTC cause RNs to lose their assessment skills would be lost and future employment opportunities outside of LTC would be nil ? I'm a newbie, so I still cant comprehend your quote.
