Assessment tips/ books, time management tips, anuthing at all would be appreciated. Thank you I'll be working on a stroke unit by the way the patients there are mosyly stroke/tia patients but there arw a wide variety of other patients as well
  3. I applied online and they sent me 2 tests to take. One was a math (dosage calculations) test and the other was behavioral type questions.
  4. Thank you for the response. Ive always wanted to work with planned parenthood and help young adults with their reproductive health issues, but I never thought about having to work with abortions procedures. They say its just pre op and post op so I dont handle actually work around the procedure itself.
  5. I wondering if anybody has ever worked with or currently works at planned parenthood as an RN. if so, do/did you like it? Did it mess with your morals working in the surgical area? What exactly are the duties of the RN? Were/are you safe from protestors at work?
  6. Good luck with your test. I wish you all the best!

  8. https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/2014-pearson-vue-903036.html There are a number of people that have passed even though they went to the credit card page but those numbers are very slim. I hope the odds are I your favor!
  9. Looks like you're doing well to me. Keep it up!
  10. I suppose the last pop up you recieved before you recieved your official results
  11. Kaplan recommends doing about 90% of the qbank and getting about 60-65% on them. I suggest for you to continue doing them and looking at your rationals and understanding why you are getting answers right or wrong. The rationals help you think correctly on how to answer the questions. They show you if you were thinking around the right lines. And if you have time do question trainers 5, 6, 7 again to try to improve. The goal is for you to improve your scores whether you are getting high or low scores. Always try to improve. The better you get at these questions, the better you will do on the nclex. Good luck.
  12. What are your q bank scores? Have you been reviewing the content videos and book in the sections you score lowest?? I wouls recommend that. And read the rationals for every question whether you get it right or wrong.
  13. Thought I'd start a 2014 PVT poll "Good" pop up says: "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." "Test on hold" pop up says: "The candidate currently has test results that are on hold" "Credit card page": takes you to the credit card page to make a payment.
  14. Thank you for your post! And I agree because I currently work in a hospital but as a student and I feel that I wont be able to take things from the hospital into public health. And I do want to get into PHN for the teaching capacity of it all. Thanks again.
  15. Only D-fib V-fib, and PULSELESS V-tach. Ventricular tachycardia has to be pulseless before you can defibrillate , otherwise just continue cpr
  16. Took it on jan 8th got the good pop up, my name is now on the breeze website
  17. Hello! I just graduated with my BSN this dec. I took the nclex last wed, and although I havent had any results, ive done the pearson vue trick and got the good pop up. Most people seem to think I passed. Im interested in pursuing a public health job. I loved public health in school and will further my education to get my master's in public administration in the near future. I need advice as to whether to pursue public health as a new grad or get experience in a hospital first. I currently work as a student nurse at a big hospital (for 2 years now) and I ask the nurses there their opinions, but they all seem to think I should get at least 2 years of med surge nursing first. I think their opinion is biased becaise all theyve known is med surge. They have been working med surge since graduation from school. Or a sniff, then hospitals. I feel I need advice from public health nurses because you guys know the field and a great number of public health nurses previously worked in hospitals. I like the hours of public health and the fact that you guys do a great deal for the community as a whole and that is what I want to get into. I loved teaching the community things and having health fairs in my public health class. Should I go ahead and pursue public health as a new grad or get med surge experience first?
  18. Did you try the pearson view trick?
  19. Great! Congratulations; you must've had a wonderful Christmas
  20. Expected V. Unexpected. Calf pain is expected with dvt SUDDEN sever headache in anyone is unexpected. For that reason I pick 1.
  21. Seems like people that took the nclex in california are getting delayed results. If you took yours in california? If so when, and if you passed, how long did it take to see your name on the website? And how long after did you get your license.
  22. Also if you can, try to buy Lacharity's assessment, delegation, and assignments. Those are really good for priority and who do you see first.
  23. Congratulations :)
