First of all I would like to say how 'I love OB' nurses :) I work in a hospital as dietary aid and I love my OB nurses. Q. My period came on July 31. Every since 8-15 I been feeling nausa and heartburn and very tired. I went to the doctor on the 18 and he said i wasn't pregnant. I was wondering if I took the test too soon? Can I be pregnant and I will have to wait till sometime next week to know? I know the Home P.t should be taking 3 days before your period but from the doctor office is their a time limit I should wait? Was it too soon to take the test at the doctor office? Thanks for any input!!! And I love this site!!!!!
  3. HI guys, :) Today I just drop my summer classes so I can start a phlebotomy program. I was wondering if anyone is a phlebotomist could tell about what the program would be like? What is your job like? Do you have alot of patient interaction? I really need a job and this program is 6wks and another 6wks internship:) The program started today but the admission rep told me to come see her tomorrow so I can start right away. After this program then I will go back to start on my pre-reqs in the Fall. Thanks :)
  4. I am doing Chem1010 and Biology1001 Also.........we are going to have to start a thread for the Fall for Chem, Biology:)
  5. Hey Hope, I am starting my prereq's this summer with Math-Intro to Algebra. I have a GED too, and they are going to go by my college credits I am taking now. Like CardicRN said retake the chem and other classes to get a better grade. I am taking Chem1010 and Biol1001 this fall. Try to sit down with an counselor; mine was very helpful answering my questions.
  6. My counselor advise to take Intro to Math this summer. I will taking Chem(Intro) Biology 1 in the Fall with English, and Reading(development classes) didn't do really well on the placement test. Good luck
