I have the exact same problem. I was diagnosed with Dyscalculia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Looking forward to reading everyones inputs. I also messed up my freshman sophomore year. I am looking at nursing calculation books online, just waiting for a little extra cash to purchase. Good luck :)

Not me but i know a girl who did it. Popped it out during christmas break and went back in January. She had ALOT of support from the baby daddy and her parents.

Hey everyone. I'm starting my first semester of prereqs this spring.. and I HAVE to work. My boyfriend and I have our own apartment. He bartends/serves and I quit my job of waiting tables because my employer would not cut back my hours for me to go to school. I would like to work in the medical field some how some way. Do any of you know any jobs that I can apply for at entry-level in the medical field? I have 3 years of serving experience and thats about it.

Wow! I am the same exact way. I have like a dyslexia with math. I get very verry frustrated with math. No amount of people explaining would help. Obviously I cant really give you any advice as i am in the same boat, but thanks for posting this question and thanks to everyone for answering!!!! Looking forward to see how you do/did. :)

I really appreciate everyones input. I talked to my adviser, she said i can take a 3 week mini in may for my A&P I. and another summer mini for my A&P II and Micro in the fall. All is well! The little mini heart attack i had while trying to figure all this out is now relieved. :)

Making a trip up to my college today. Going to be discussing this semesters classes. I looked online and all the A&P I are all filled. I may have to broaden my prereqs by a semester but if that means more points to get into a nursing school then i'm all for it.

Hey everybody! Thank you all for your thoughts and opinions. I will say that I do not work or have children. When I sat down to register, this adviser did not mention the fact that I might have a slight issue with taking all of these classes in one semester. I am already scheduled 15 hours for my first semester with a "preparing you for college" class which I think is a waste of money and time. I have a english, physcology, math, and a elective. She said all that leaves for next semester IS A&P I II and microbiology. I guess I need to switch some stuff up.Also it is an option to take both I and II at the same time.

My question to you all is... Did my advisor and I make a mistake when making my class schedule. You guys are talking about how difficult those classes are. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
