  1. I stumbled to your post because I really want to find out the job market condition for a new BSN in lower mainland. How long ago did you graduate?
  2. Congrats again for those who got offers already!! And thanks for the tip on questionnaire. You guys are so encouraging! i guess i will take a deep breath and go for it! Good luck for those of you writing questionnaire this week! We are almost there. Btw, does anyone know from previous year if we get to know the result earlier if we complete the questionnaire early?? Or do they announce the result after everyone finish writing? I just can't wait to get things done and hear the result!
  3. I got shortlisted as well! congrats to all of you who got accepted! As for the questionnaires, does anyone know if the questions are like behavioral type of job interview questions such as "Tell me about a time when you handled a difficult customers...?" ah, I can't wait to get it done!
  4. Thanks for letting me know! I thought I won't get to even submit my application if I don't get the grade because it is one of the Academic Foundations course. It says on the website they don't accept midterm grade for Academic Foundations course. Do you know if I can use the form for academic foundation course? It is quite frustrating because I cannot do anything other than wait for the final grade ugh =(
  5. thanks chiseen. good luck with your application! I am still working on it, will be submitting once I get a grade on one of the course that I am taking at TRU but not sure if it gets available by the deadline. did they give you the date to submit the questionnaire for you?
  6. Does anyone know about the admission process after submitting the application? I am not sure of this but by reading the previous entry thread, it seems like there are round 1 and round 2??
  7. Thanks Lyssa0301! It is great that the program is a good fit for you! When do/did you start your clinical? Did you have heath care related exerince before?
  8. Thanks so much Cesh! That cleared up my question! Btw Do you know how hard it is to get into the program for a degree holder in general? ( I have very little, almost none health care related volunteer experience )
  9. Hello everyone. I want to ask you guys a question on tuition fee as most of you who got accepted into the program have better idea. Do you guys know if you pay tuition for every level? Or by semester? Also does anyone know how much the tuition is gonna be(approximately)?
  10. I am thinking of applying for 2015 entry from BC. Can anyone tell me how much you pay for the tuition and for living expenses? I have never been to Calgary before and would love to hear from those who are already in the program! Also, does anyone considered U of Alberta as well? Thanks in advance=)
  11. Hi all,I am applying to both UBC ad BCIT for nursing and I am not quite sure which one to choose as they seem quite different, mainly on the length of the program but I am sure there are many more differences that I am not aware of. Is there anyone who is on the same boat as me? Can you give me some insights on their programs if you have finished the program from those two schools? Thanks a lot in advance!
  12. I completed my degree in science and in the process of applying for a nursing school in BC, mainly UBC and BCIT. UBC seems attractive as it is a shorter(20months?) program compare to a 3 year program at BCIT. What are the advantage and disadvantage of going to UBC? would there be any disadvantage when I look for jobs after completion of degree from UBC nursing?
