Vancouver job applications
I did look at jobs there. I am a new grad an unfortunately I do not have the experience that they want/need. Most of those positions are for peds nurses, peri-natal, post-partum etc. Thanks for the tip though :)

Vancouver job applications
Thank you for your response. I applied on the unit (in person) where I preceptored and they had two full-time positions posted online. I applied to both, but they must have gotten filled before I applied because right after I applied online they were gone. I applied in person with the unit manager and it seemed like things went well, I am thinking about following up with a phone call next week. I am applying for everything. At first I wanted to stay within my area but now I am willing to travel or move to get a job.

Vancouver job applications
Hello, so I am getting worried. I am a new RN grad and I have been applying for jobs all over the Lower Mainland. I know that a few of my classmates have already secured jobs, and many of them were ESN's for the past year+. I was not an ESN unfortunately. Vancouver Coastal Health: I wanted to know if anyone has been applying at Vancouver Coastal Health? I have applied to several positions at a few of the hospitals via their website and in person. If you log into their careers website and you look at all of the positions applied to, under the "submittal status" are there options other than "received submission"? One of them says "candidate withdrawn", but it still allows me to press the "withdraw" button Any of you that got jobs, did anything change on past job submittals? Fraser Health: I applied online, got an email with a package to fill out, filled out package, submitted reference, then received package about hours, skills for different types of nursing. Filled those out and sent back, received confirmation that all documents have been received, but have not heard back from them since. It has been about two weeks now. How long does this usually take? Will they call me or email me? Providence health: Website is straightforward, have not noticed any application status etc. I have applied for a few jobs, again have not heard back from any of them. Any other areas I could explore? Unfortunately I am not willing to move out of the Lower Mainland. Any free or cheap courses I could take to improve my resume? (online certificates etc) I noticed that some places mention ACLS (advanced cardiovascular/cardiac life support), it is expensive, around $450. Do most employers provide this for employees or is BLS sufficient?

Fraser Health New Grad Program Questions
I applied for this program as well. I have sent back all of the forms and it has been about a week and I have not heard anything yet. Josh, have you applied for Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)?
